You will play a pivotal role in supporting our Brokers by providing essential administrative, clerical, and account management functions for a diverse book of business, encompassing both new and renewal accounts.
- • In this role, you will operate entirely via phone and written correspondence, eliminating the need for travel or driving. Your primary responsibilities will involve meticulously evaluating risk-related documentation, ensuring the utmost accuracy and completeness of all applications submitted to carriers. You will be instrumental in the timely issuance of crucial documents such as quotes, binders, and policies, ensuring that all client needs are met efficiently and professionally.
- • A key aspect of your contribution will be the day-to-day management of client accounts. This includes processing endorsements to reflect changes in coverage, coordinating necessary inspections to assess risk, and maintaining strict adherence to Quality Control standards to ensure regulatory compliance and operational excellence. You will also be responsible for ensuring that all coding on required forms is accurate and that state filings and tax payments are processed in accordance with all applicable state laws.
- • You will act as a vital liaison, fostering and strengthening relationships with internal teams, producers, and carrier partners. This collaborative approach is essential for ensuring a smooth workflow, resolving any potential issues proactively, and delivering an exceptional service experience to our clients and partners.
- • Your analytical skills will be put to the test as you examine documents like application forms, inspection reports, insurance maps, and medical reports. You will assess the degree of risk by analyzing factors such as the applicant's financial standing, age, occupation, accident history, and the value and condition of insured property.
- • You will work closely with the Broker to guarantee that all necessary information is obtained, that the correct applications are completed thoroughly, and that quotes and binders are confirmed in writing. Prompt and accurate policy issuance is paramount, as is ensuring that all state filings, where applicable, are made and that taxes are paid correctly and on time.
- • This role provides comprehensive assistance and support within the Department, contributing to the overall success and efficiency of the team. You will be empowered to manage day-to-day account activities, ensuring client satisfaction and retention.
- • Maintaining compliance with Quality Control guidelines is a non-negotiable aspect of this position, ensuring that our operations meet the highest industry standards. You will also be responsible for ordering inspections and managing them as needed, providing critical data for risk assessment.
- • Ensuring that coding on specific required forms is completed and utilized correctly is essential for accurate record-keeping and compliance. The processing of endorsements will be a regular duty, reflecting changes in client policies.
- • Ultimately, your role as an Assistant Broker will be to foster and improve relationships with other departments, producers, and insurance companies, contributing to a cohesive and high-performing work environment.
