- • Support instructional faculty by interacting with students in online undergraduate Computer Information Systems classrooms, managing communication and engagement for large student cohorts.
- • Analyze student activity in discussions and assessments, responding appropriately based on training and guidance from lead instructors.
- • Assist with grading assignments and providing timely, constructive feedback to students to promote academic success.
- • Monitor student engagement levels and recommend strategies to improve participation and retention in online learning environments.
- • Assist lead instructors with student outreach initiatives, including proactive communication to at-risk or disengaged learners.
- • Provide supplemental instruction through tutoring sessions, live virtual sessions, or other support methods as directed by lead faculty.
- • Contribute to the development of supplemental learning materials such as study guides, instructional videos, and job aids.
- • Escalate unique or complex student issues to lead instructors for resolution while maintaining consistent communication protocols.
- • Manage multiple student communications efficiently, ensuring timely responses and adherence to institutional policies and academic standards.
- • Demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills when interacting with students, faculty, and academic support staff.
- • Utilize technology platforms to facilitate learning, track student progress, and deliver support in a remote online learning environment.
- • Maintain high standards of attention to detail, initiative, and follow-through in all assigned tasks and responsibilities.
- • Adapt support strategies to accommodate diverse learning styles and student needs within an online educational setting.
- • Work a defined schedule of 25 hours per week during the summer quarter, beginning July 6, 2026, with flexible hours aligned to course demands.
- • Collaborate with faculty and academic teams to ensure a cohesive and supportive learning experience for all students.
- • Perform other duties as assigned to support the effective delivery of Computer Information Systems coursework.
🎯 Requirements
- • Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or Information Systems from a regionally accredited institution
- • CompTIA A+ and CompTIA Network+ certifications (or equivalent TestOut certifications)
- • Authorization to work in the United States
- • Experience working in online teaching or educational support environments
- • Demonstrated proficiency in using technology to facilitate learning and manage student interactions
- • Strong written and verbal communication skills with ability to interact effectively with students and faculty
