  • • Own and exceed revenue targets for central-government departments, PSUs, and North-East tourism boards across JioStar’s TV, Digital, and OTT ecosystem. You will be the single-point-of-contact for marquee accounts such as the Ministry of Tourism, Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, and state-level nodal agencies, translating their communication mandates into high-impact campaigns that reach 750 million weekly viewers.
  • • Build and nurture long-term, trust-based relationships with senior bureaucrats, heads of media wings, and agency planners at CBC, NFDC, DAVP, and other nodal bodies. Your calendar will include quarterly review meetings, policy-briefing breakfasts, and on-ground activation visits to ensure JioStar is always top-of-mind when annual ad budgets are allocated.
  • • Craft bespoke, insight-led solutions that blend TV roadblocks, digital mastheads, OTT first-look videos, and on-ground IPs such as “Bharat Ke Rang” or “Swasth Bharat Utsav.” You will storyboard ideas with the Brand Solutions team, price them competitively, and present them in visually stunning pitch decks that win RFPs against rival broadcasters and digital giants.
  • • Lead end-to-end tender and rate-contract processes—from scanning GeM and CPP portals for fresh RFPs, to aligning legal, finance, and compliance teams on technical bids, to negotiating L1 rates and securing multi-year retainers. Your meticulous eye on policy updates (e.g., new Central Vista branding guidelines or Northeast industrial-promotion schemes) will translate into proactive pitches months before competitors react.
  • • Ensure flawless campaign execution with zero spillage and 100 % SOV delivery. You will traffic spots, monitor real-time BARC & Google Analytics dashboards, and coordinate with programming to secure prime-time inventory during marquee events like IPL or KBC, guaranteeing clients the reach they paid for.
  • • Drive expansion into untapped government verticals—think emerging smart-city authorities, state skill-development missions, and defence PSUs—by mapping decision hierarchies, cold-calling new contacts, and piloting small-budget test campaigns that can scale into multi-crore annual deals.
  • • Synthesize market intelligence from TAM, BARC, Comscore, and policy circulars into crisp fortnightly reports for senior leadership. Your insights will shape pricing strategies, content-product roadmaps, and cross-platform bundling offers that keep JioStar ahead of DD FreeDish and other emerging competitors.
  • • Collaborate cross-functionally with Legal to ensure every insertion order meets GFR, ASCI, and ECI norms; with Finance to release invoices within 48 hours of campaign go-live; and with Creative to adapt AV materials into 20-, 30-, and 60-second cuts that pass DAVP’s stringent quality checks.
  • • Champion JioStar’s diversity and inclusion ethos by ensuring government campaigns on women’s safety, LGBTQ+ rights, and disability inclusion are given premium placement and sensitive storytelling, reinforcing the network’s role as a socially responsible media powerhouse.
  • • Mentor junior sales executives on pitch-craft, negotiation tactics, and CRM hygiene, building a pipeline of future leaders who can replicate your success across other government verticals and regional markets.
