  • • Own the pulse of Karnataka’s television landscape by translating raw data into blockbuster Kannada programming decisions that directly move the Star Suvarna needle on reach, time-spent and market share.
  • • Sit at the epicenter of content, marketing and fiction teams, acting as the single source of truth on what Kannada viewers want today and will crave tomorrow—then turn that insight into a living, breathing schedule that outperforms every competitor in the GRP race.
  • • Build and continuously refine a scientific, data-driven FPC (Full Programming Clock) and promo plan that balances tent-pole originals, stunt events and library content to hit aggressive weekly, monthly and quarterly business targets.
  • • Run daily slot-level diagnostics using BARC, Zapr, AdEx and ad-hoc datasets; flag under-performing hours within hours and craft rapid-fire recovery tactics that can be executed the very next broadcast day.
  • • Conduct deep-dive qualitative immersions—focus groups, ethnographies, social listening—to decode evolving Kannada consumer motivations, then fuse those human truths with hard numbers to brief fiction writers, promo producers and marketing planners.
  • • Maintain a 360° competitive war-room: track rival channel line-ups, promo bursts, talent signings and digital extensions; model scenario plans that pre-empt competitive moves and seize whitespace opportunities before anyone else spots them.
  • • Translate complex analytical findings into crisp, story-driven PowerPoint narratives for weekly content meetings, ensuring every stakeholder—from the Senior Manager to on-ground creatives—understands exactly what to green-light, tweak or kill.
  • • Proactively surface macro consumer and category shifts (e.g., OTT migration, festive mood swings, political events) and quantify their revenue impact, then co-create mitigation or acceleration strategies with programming and ad-sales leadership.
  • • Champion a culture of test-and-learn: design micro-experiments (alternate promo edits, time-slot swaps, thematic stunts) and rigorously measure ROI to institutionalize an always-optimizing feedback loop across the channel.
  • • Collaborate with marketing to align promo tonality, media bursts and on-ground activations with the strategic content roadmap, ensuring 360° campaigns amplify the stories that data says will deliver the highest incremental viewership.
  • • Mentor junior analysts on SQL shortcuts, Excel modelling best practices and Kannada cultural nuances, raising the analytical IQ of the entire cluster while freeing yourself to focus on higher-order strategic questions.
  • • Present quarterly “State of the Kannada Viewer” reports to network leadership, spotlighting emerging content white spaces, untapped audience cohorts and revenue upside that inform long-term investment decisions across JioStar.
