- • The Associate Account Manager Team Lead at OpenDeal Inc. (operating as Republic Services) plays a critical role in driving customer retention and team performance by combining hands-on account management with leadership responsibilities. This role ensures consistent delivery of retention activities, supports team development, and contributes to exceeding business goals through proactive customer engagement and process adherence.
- • Day to day, the Team Lead prepares agendas and participates in weekly planning meetings, team huddles, reinforcement trainings, and skip-level meetings with the Area Retention Manager; supports the Supervisor with escalation requests, case management, and open book of business oversight; mentors and onboards newly hired Associate Account Managers through shadowing and guidance; fulfills daily/weekly/monthly AAM expectations including contractual re-signs, proactive communication on pricing initiatives, and Salesforce documentation of all customer interactions; responds to cancellation requests per escalation policy; works to minimize rate restrictions and customer credits while increasing penetration of Republic Services’ full product suite; and regularly reviews performance with the Supervisor against goals and key relationship status.

- • Waste or transportation industry experience (Preferred)
