📋 Description

• • The Associate Behavioral Health Medical Director supports staff by providing training, clinical consultation, and clinical case reviews for members, playing a critical role in ensuring quality behavioral health services and compliance with regulatory standards.
• • Day-to-day responsibilities include participating in peer-to-peer discussions, providing provider education and training, conducting clinical reviews and appeals, performing prior authorization medical reviews, supporting fraud and abuse investigations, and contributing to policy and procedure development.
