📋 Description

  • As an Associate Claims Clinical Specialist at CareScout, a division of Genworth Financial, Inc., you will be instrumental in shaping the future of long-term care services. This role is pivotal in bridging the gap between complex aging needs and innovative digital solutions, ensuring that families receive dignified and simplified support during challenging times. You will leverage your clinical expertise to inform product development, acting as the voice of the customer to create user-centered digital experiences that can positively impact millions of lives.
  • In your day-to-day responsibilities, you will serve as a Subject Matter Expert, providing critical insights into local and state-level programming and resources tailored for aging adults and their caregivers. You will conduct consultations, offering education and guidance on available care options and navigating the complexities of the caregiving journey. A significant aspect of your role will involve intensive case management and crisis intervention, ensuring that individuals receive timely and appropriate support. You will be a vital member of the product and design teams, championing the customer's perspective and ensuring that their needs are at the forefront of all development efforts. Your approach to problem-solving will be deeply rooted in a human-centered lens, focusing on empathy and understanding.
  • You will meticulously document the frequent and key needs of users, compiling both qualitative data, such as direct quotes and anecdotal stories that represent user experiences, and quantitative data, including the frequency of needs and identified trends in gaps within local care environments and resources. This comprehensive data will be regularly reported to the digital product and design teams to inform strategic decisions and product enhancements. Furthermore, you will utilize your profound understanding of the landscape of aging and long-term resources, including facilities, organizations, agencies, and referral sources, to assist the marketing team in forging key partnerships and reaching potential consumers who would benefit from CareScout's digital products. You will actively report back to the product and design teams with actionable insights for improving the digital products based on user feedback, ensuring continuous enhancement and user satisfaction. Before new product features are released to consumers, you will conduct thorough reviews to identify potential improvements or issues, proactively contributing to a superior user experience.
  • About the team and company, CareScout is dedicated to simplifying and dignifying the aging experience. As part of Genworth Financial, Inc., a Fortune 500 company, CareScout is creating a new, integrated experience for care seekers and their families. This includes consolidating long-term care options, non-healthcare resources, educational materials, and human support into a single, accessible platform.
