📋 Description

• Shape the future of the Power & Electricity industry as a strategic visionary who sits at the intersection of business transformation and cutting-edge technology. You will serve as the trusted advisor to Fortune-500 utilities, investor-owned utilities (IOUs), municipal utilities, and distribution companies, guiding them through the most complex regulatory, operational, and digital challenges of our time.
• Own end-to-end strategy definition for multi-million-dollar transformation programs: from initial visioning workshops with C-suite executives to detailed future-state business and technology roadmaps that unlock new revenue streams, reduce OPEX, and elevate customer experience.
• Architect industry-specific frameworks and reusable consulting assets that position Nagarro as the go-to partner for utility modernization. Your blueprints will be leveraged across global engagements, accelerating time-to-value for clients and creating a lasting intellectual property footprint for the firm.
• Lead immersive, high-stakes workshops and discovery sessions with senior business and IT stakeholders. Translate regulatory mandates, sustainability goals, and customer-centric imperatives into actionable digital strategies that integrate CRM, CIS, OMS, GIS, billing, and advanced metering ecosystems.
• Drive pre-sales excellence by crafting compelling value propositions, differentiation stories, and solution strategies that win RFPs. Collaborate with cross-functional teams—solution architects, data scientists, experience designers—to deliver pitch decks and prototypes that resonate with utility boards and regulators.
• Act as the bridge between legacy utility operations and next-generation platforms. Deep-dive into customer service, metering & billing, field service, outage management, and new service connections to identify high-impact opportunities for automation, analytics, and AI-driven decision-making.
• Mentor and elevate a global bench of junior consultants and analysts, transferring deep domain knowledge in utility business models, rate design, DER integration, and grid modernization. Instill consulting best practices that ensure every engagement meets the gold standard of strategic advisory.
• Continuously scan the horizon for emerging trends—EV charging networks, distributed energy resources, micro-grids, carbon tracking, and platform-based marketplaces. Translate these trends into forward-looking strategies that keep clients ahead of regulatory shifts and competitive threats.
• Champion data-driven business architecture: align processes, technology platforms, and data strategies to create a single source of truth that empowers executives to make real-time decisions on grid reliability, customer satisfaction, and capital allocation.
• Cultivate long-term, trusted-advisor relationships that extend beyond individual projects. Become the voice clients call when they need clarity on rate case impacts, AMI rollouts, or customer portal revamps—positioning Nagarro as an extension of their strategic planning office.
• Demonstrate thought leadership through whitepapers, industry panels, and keynote presentations. Your insights on utility transformation will shape public discourse and reinforce Nagarro’s reputation as an innovation leader in energy and utilities.
• Own the success metrics of early-stage engagements: from stakeholder satisfaction scores to pipeline expansion and reference-ability. Your strategic guidance will directly influence multi-year program budgets and technology vendor selections.

🎯 Requirements

• 14+ years of experience in strategy, consulting, or business analysis within the Power & Electricity utilities sector (IOUs, distribution companies, or municipal utilities).
• Deep, hands-on expertise in utility business models, regulatory environments, and industry transformation trends.
• Proven track record in defining enterprise transformation roadmaps and shaping digital strategies for CIS, CRM, OMS, GIS, billing, and advanced metering platforms.
• Exceptional communication, storytelling, and executive presentation skills with the ability to influence senior stakeholders and decision-makers.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or related field; MBA or relevant advanced degree preferred.
