- • As the Associate Director, Commercial Parts Inventory, you will be instrumental in shaping and executing a world-class parts distribution and inventory strategy for Carrier Global Corporation, a leader in intelligent climate and energy solutions. This pivotal role focuses on enhancing service delivery, reducing operational costs, and driving commercial growth by optimizing our parts inventory and distribution network.
- • You will serve as the primary liaison for footprint and inventory optimization across the Commercial business, ensuring seamless integration and cohesive planning. Your responsibilities will encompass a broad spectrum of strategic and operational tasks, from determining the optimal number and location of distribution centers to defining inventory placement strategies across various nodes like branches, regional hubs, and storefronts.
- • A key aspect of this role involves establishing robust standards for Preventive Maintenance (PM) and Aftermarket (AM) kits. You will be responsible for identifying the need for additional kits, meticulously defining their contents, and ensuring their consistent availability to meet service and sales objectives. This requires a deep understanding of product lifecycles and service requirements.
- • You will collaborate closely with Supply Chain and Operations teams to ensure optimal inventory availability and customer proximity, directly impacting operational efficiency. This includes integrating aftermarket/parts forecasting with central supply chain planning, aligning contracts, and establishing clear escalation paths.
- • A significant part of your role will involve developing and implementing advanced forecasting tools, such as KetteQ or Servigistics, to significantly improve demand planning accuracy. You will be a champion for digital transformation, driving the adoption of predictive analytics and innovative inventory optimization techniques.
- • You will develop sales strategies that are intrinsically aligned with the established footprint and kitting plans. This requires close collaboration with commercial teams to ensure that customer needs are met efficiently and effectively, fostering strong customer relationships and satisfaction.
- • The role demands a strategic thinker with a proven ability to translate strategic vision into operational execution. You will leverage strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify inefficiencies, develop solutions, and drive continuous improvement.
