- • Lead all aspects of contract management for Worldwide Clinical Trials, including master services agreements (MSAs), contracts, and change orders with sponsors.
- • Provide legal contractual input and strategic guidance to ensure alignment with business development requirements and sponsor expectations.
- • Collaborate cross-functionally with Business Development, Therapeutic Leaders, Operations, and Finance to ensure MSAs accurately reflect operational agreements between Worldwide and sponsors.
- • Develop, revise, and finalize service description text and proposal content that form the core of contracts and exhibits.
- • Manage the end-to-end process for execution of contracts, change orders, and MSAs, prioritizing tasks dynamically to meet urgent business deadlines.
- • Ensure accurate and timely distribution of contract-related information to relevant operational teams during negotiation and execution phases.
- • Supervise and provide line management to Contracts Associates or Managers as assigned, guiding their work and development.
- • Apply thorough knowledge of commercial contracting principles and corporate business practices to negotiate and finalize agreements.
- • Leverage deep understanding of the CRO and pharmaceutical industry, including study design, project management, and operational requirements for clinical trial implementation.
- • Maintain high standards of accuracy and compliance in all contract documentation and processes.
- • Demonstrate exceptional oral and written communication skills to interact effectively with internal stakeholders and external sponsors.
- • Utilize advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, to manage contract data, reports, and presentations.
- • Set and manage opportunity plans, communication strategies, schedules, and deadlines with precision and adaptability.
- • Exercise sound judgment and independent decision-making in complex contract scenarios involving multiple stakeholders and regulatory considerations.
- • Re-prioritize workload based on shifting business needs and urgent sponsor requests without compromising quality or compliance.
- • Contribute to continuous improvement of contract management processes to enhance efficiency and reduce turnaround times.
- • Ensure all contract activities align with Worldwide’s mission to improve patient lives through quality, innovation, and excellence.
🎯 Requirements
- • Minimum of 10 years of direct experience in CRO or pharmaceutical industry contracting, data sourcing, integration, analysis, and reporting
- • In-depth knowledge of CRO/pharmaceutical industry operations, study design, and sales support activities
- • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- • Demonstrated ability to advise and interact with all levels of staff, from operational teams to executive leadership
- • Thorough understanding of commercial contracting principles and corporate business practices
- • Proven experience in proposal development and business development operations
