- • Own the creative heartbeat of Star Maa: you will ideate, conceptualize, visualize, write, produce, direct, and edit every on-air promo that appears across the network’s fiction, non-fiction, and movie properties—translating scripts into thumb-stopping, culturally resonant Telugu stories that drive appointment viewing.
- • Translate marketing strategy into clear, inspiring creative briefs that the OAP, Graphics, and external vendors can run with; ensure every frame, font, and voice-over choice ladders back to the show’s positioning, target audience, and the channel’s larger brand promise.
- • Infuse unmistakable local flavor into every campaign—leveraging Telugu idioms, music, color palettes, and cultural moments—so viewers feel the channel “speaks their language” and competitors struggle to imitate the authenticity.
- • Set the visual identity of Star Maa through cohesive packaging, stings, lower-thirds, and OSP; maintain a living brand bible that keeps the look fresh yet instantly recognizable across linear, digital, and social touchpoints.
- • Collaborate shoulder-to-shoulder with Content, Marketing, and Strategy teams to lock campaign objectives, episode hooks, and media plans; then shepherd the work from brainstorm to final master, ensuring on-time, on-budget delivery without compromising creative ambition.
- • Keep the network ahead of the curve by monitoring regional and national promo trends, audience sentiment, and competitive moves; pivot quickly to seize topical opportunities or counter-programming gaps.
- • Produce high-impact showreels, AV sizzles, and flash presentations for ad-sales, affiliate meets, and internal town-halls—turning ratings data and story arcs into persuasive narratives that secure revenue and stakeholder buy-in.
- • Lead, mentor, and upskill a cross-functional unit of promo producers, editors, and graphic designers; foster a culture of fearless creativity, constructive critique, and continuous learning so the team punches above its weight.
- • Manage external post houses, music composers, and celebrity talent; negotiate timelines, costs, and deliverables while safeguarding Star Maa’s creative standards and brand safety guidelines.
- • Champion data-informed creativity—use BARC, YouTube analytics, and social listening to refine promos, A/B test thumbnails, and iterate campaigns in real time for maximum reach and retention.
- • Spearhead special stunts and tent-pole events (festivals, finales, movie premieres) with 360° promo blitzes that integrate on-air, digital, outdoor, and influencer amplification, delivering record-breaking spikes in ratings and buzz.
- • Ensure compliance with broadcast regulations, internal ethics, and Disney-Star brand guidelines; flag potential sensitivity issues early and provide creative solutions that keep storytelling bold yet responsible.
- • Build a pipeline of fresh creative talent—conduct portfolio reviews, run internship programs, and create internal showcases that position Star Maa as the destination for the best promo minds in Telugu television.
