📋 Description
- • **Drive Enterprise-Wide Transformation:** As the Associate Director, HR - Org Effectiveness, Culture & Change Leader, you will be a pivotal strategic integrator, directly supporting RTX Operations and Supply Chain HR leadership. Your primary mission is to spearhead the disciplined execution of critical transformation initiatives, ensuring seamless cultural adoption, robust workforce readiness, and sustainable change across the entire enterprise. This role demands a proactive and strategic approach to embed new ways of working and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
- • **Strategic Partnership and Alignment:** You will forge strong partnerships with HR Business Partners (HRBPs), Operations and Supply Chain leaders, and key HR Communities of Expertise (CoEs) such as Talent, Workforce Planning, and Learning. Your collaboration will extend to enterprise stakeholders to ensure workforce strategies are tightly aligned with overarching business priorities. A key aspect of your role will be to provide senior leaders with clear, concise visibility into the progress, potential risks, and interdependencies of major transformation initiatives, enabling informed decision-making.
- • **Lead HR Program and Project Execution:** Take ownership of the end-to-end execution of large-scale, enterprise-level HR initiatives specifically designed to support Operations, Supply Chain, and factory transformation efforts. You will be responsible for establishing and maintaining robust project management and change management standards, ensuring they are aligned with RTX's established methodologies. Working closely with functional leaders, you will develop integrated project and change plans that clearly define milestones, dependencies, potential risks, and desired outcomes, driving accountability and clarity.
- • **Champion Culture and Change Management:** Design and implement comprehensive change management strategies that are crucial for the successful adoption of new operating models, evolving workforce strategies, and innovative ways of working. This involves conducting thorough assessments of organizational readiness and the cultural implications of major initiatives, proactively identifying potential resistance points, and developing effective mitigation strategies. You will play a key role in reinforcing desired leadership behaviors and cultural norms by collaborating closely with business and HR leaders. Facilitating leader and team forums, conducting after-action reviews, and establishing feedback loops will be essential for fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
- • **Advance Workforce Planning and Enablement:** Lead the implementation and enterprise-wide adoption of strategic and operational workforce planning tools and methodologies. Your ability to translate complex business strategies, production plans, and demand signals into scalable workforce planning models and tools will be critical. You will partner with HR CoEs, Operations, Finance, and Digital Transformation (DT) teams to ensure seamless integration of workforce planning with related enterprise systems and processes. A significant part of your role will involve building leader capability in utilizing workforce planning tools and data for informed decision-making and integration into operational planning cycles. Continuous monitoring of adoption rates, data quality, and overall effectiveness, coupled with providing insightful recommendations to senior leadership, will be paramount.
- • **Enable Factory and Manufacturing Excellence:** Provide dedicated support for enterprise-wide projects that directly impact factories and manufacturing operations. This includes developing and executing workforce strategies, labor modeling, skills transformation initiatives, and operating model changes. You will facilitate consistent change management, communication, and adoption strategies across multiple sites, while also being attuned to and addressing site-specific needs and nuances. Tracking workforce readiness, identifying potential risks, and managing dependencies will be crucial, ensuring senior leadership has clear visibility into these critical areas.
- • **Integrate Stakeholders and Support Executives:** Act as a central coordination point, fostering seamless integration across HR, Operations, and Supply Chain teams to optimize decision-making processes and information flow. You will meticulously track key decisions, action items, and their outcomes, ensuring timely follow-ups and providing leaders with a clear pulse on progress and organizational sentiment. A key responsibility will be to coach functional leaders on effectively framing workforce and change proposals for executive and enterprise-level audiences, ensuring clarity and impact.
- • **Remote Work and Collaboration:** This is a remote position within the U.S., offering flexibility while requiring strong collaboration skills to connect with teams across different locations and time zones. While remote, there is a preference for candidates to be located in or willing to work from the Charlotte, North Carolina or Farmington, CT areas, and ideally align with Central or Eastern time zones for optimal team integration.
