- • Lead the day-to-day execution of complex consulting engagements within the Integrated Healthcare Solutions (IHS) practice, specifically focusing on Managed Care. This involves comprehensive project planning, meticulous budgeting, efficient execution, and the successful delivery of client solutions.
- • Serve as a primary point of contact for senior client leadership, fostering strong relationships and ensuring clear, consistent communication throughout project lifecycles.
- • Effectively manage multiple workstreams and diverse stakeholder groups simultaneously, proactively setting expectations, meticulously tracking dependencies, and driving timely closure on critical decisions and action items.
- • Take full ownership of project economics for assigned engagements and workstreams, including detailed budgeting, diligent burn rate management, accurate forecasting, and the proactive identification and escalation of potential delivery risks to ensure project profitability and success.
- • Actively coordinate and contribute to the development of both standardized and custom client deliverables, including the drafting of complex analytical sections and the seamless integration of data analysis into compelling, executive-ready narratives.
- • Implement rigorous quality control measures across all project outputs, including financial models, data exhibits, and written reports, by employing structured review processes, adhering to documentation standards, and conducting thorough reasonableness checks.
- • Provide strong leadership and mentorship to project teams, demonstrating consistent and balanced delegation, effective supervision, and inspirational leadership across all facets of an engagement. This includes critically reviewing work product and actively coaching team members for continuous improvement and professional growth.
- • Champion the career development of team members through ongoing, constructive feedback, performance input, and dedicated mentoring, actively supporting their readiness for advancement within the firm.
- • Contribute significantly to business development efforts by identifying potential follow-on opportunities with existing clients, actively participating in the development of proposals and scopes of work, and creating client-ready content and innovative methodologies that showcase BRG's capabilities.
- • Foster thought leadership and enhance practice capabilities by developing reusable tools, standardized templates, and comprehensive training materials that improve delivery speed, consistency, and overall quality across the IHS Managed Care team.
- • Collaborate effectively with both business and technology stakeholders to translate complex Managed Care needs into scalable, actionable solutions and strategic roadmaps. Coordinate seamlessly with other IHS service lines and relevant BRG practices as appropriate to ensure integrated client solutions.
- • Assume key managerial roles in broader practice functions, such as participating in recruiting efforts, contributing to training programs, and assisting with staff coordination to support the overall growth and operational efficiency of the firm.
- • Maintain a willingness to travel up to 50% to client sites and other locations as required to support project delivery and business development objectives.
- • Apply deep expertise in managed care principles, including strategic preparation, financial modeling, operational readiness, negotiation support, implementation strategies, and strategic pricing, to address the most pressing challenges faced by healthcare providers and payers.
- • Leverage comprehensive analytical skills to dissect complex healthcare financial and operational data, identifying key trends, risks, and opportunities for performance improvement.
- • Develop and present clear, concise, and persuasive recommendations to senior client executives, demonstrating a strong understanding of their business objectives and the healthcare landscape.
- • Drive project success by ensuring alignment between clinical, financial, and operational performance improvement initiatives, fostering a holistic approach to client problem-solving.
- • Contribute to the firm's intellectual capital by sharing insights, best practices, and lessons learned from client engagements, thereby enhancing BRG's collective knowledge base and service offerings.
- • Proactively stay abreast of industry trends, regulatory changes, and emerging best practices within the managed care and broader healthcare sectors to ensure the delivery of cutting-edge solutions.
- • Build and maintain a strong network of contacts within the healthcare industry, representing BRG Communications in a professional and impactful manner.
- • Ensure all client interactions and deliverables are of the highest quality, reflecting BRG's commitment to excellence and client satisfaction.
