- • The Associate Director, Regulatory Business Operations will serve as the operational hub connecting Business Development, Regulatory Affairs, Finance, and Governance to support BeiGene’s expanding external partnership model, including incubator collaborations, co-development arrangements, minority investments, and in-licensing/out-licensing opportunities.
- • Day to day, the role involves managing intake and triage of BD-initiated opportunities, leading resource forecasting and capacity planning, coordinating regulatory input into partnership contracts, establishing governance forums for external partnerships, maintaining central opportunity trackers, developing dashboards and reports, providing project management support for high-priority engagements, and acting as an operational extension of the GRA Chief of Staff.
- • The role sits within the Regulatory Affairs organization at BeiGene, a rapidly growing global biotechnology company focused on developing innovative cancer therapies, where the individual will work closely with senior leadership and cross-functional teams to ensure regulatory readiness for external collaborations.
- • The person in this role will develop expertise in operationalizing regulatory support for external partnerships, build scalable processes for intake and resource planning, gain experience in governance and reporting for complex alliances, and contribute to shaping BeiGene’s operating model as its partnership portfolio expands.
🎯 Requirements
- • Bachelor’s degree with 8+ years or master’s degree with 6+ years of experience in Regulatory Affairs, R&D Operations, Program/Portfolio Management, or a related function.
- • Strong analytical and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple complex workstreams.
- • Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally and influence without authority.
- • Experience with resource planning, forecasting, or operational analytics.
- • Excellent communication skills, including the ability to synthesize information for senior stakeholders.
- • Comfort operating in ambiguity and building structure/processes where none exist.
