- • The Associate Director of Sales Operations at Deel will drive the efficiency and effectiveness of the sales organization by optimizing processes, tools, and systems that support revenue generation, playing a pivotal role in scaling Deel’s global sales engine amid rapid growth and a $1B ARR milestone.
- • This role is critical to ensuring sales teams operate at peak performance through data-driven insights, process innovation, and cross-functional alignment, directly impacting Deel’s mission to unlock global opportunity for talent and businesses worldwide.
- • Day to day, the Associate Director will lead and manage key sales operations processes including territory design, sales forecasting, pipeline management, and compensation planning to ensure alignment with company goals and market dynamics.
- • They will implement and optimize sales systems and tools such as CRM (e.g., Salesforce) and analytics platforms to maintain data integrity, improve sales productivity, and enable accurate reporting across the organization.
- • The role involves providing actionable insights to sales leadership through regular reporting and analysis of sales performance metrics, identifying trends, risks, and opportunities to inform strategic decisions.
- • Developing and maintaining sales performance dashboards will be a core responsibility, ensuring transparency, real-time visibility, and alignment across sales, finance, marketing, and customer success teams.
- • Collaboration with cross-functional teams — including sales, finance, marketing, and customer success — is essential to ensure seamless execution of sales processes, consistent messaging, and unified go-to-market strategies.
- • Managing sales compensation processes, including designing and administering commission plans, ensuring timely payouts, and aligning incentives with corporate objectives, will be a key focus area.
- • The Associate Director will design and implement sales enablement programs — such as training, playbooks, and content — to improve the effectiveness, consistency, and ramp-up speed of the sales team.
- • They will assist in creating and refining scalable sales processes, ensuring they evolve with Deel’s growth while maintaining efficiency, compliance, and adaptability across regions and segments.
- • Working closely with leadership, the role includes defining, tracking, and owning sales KPIs, ensuring accountability and progress toward targets through regular review and course correction.
- • Leading or participating in special projects — such as CRM migrations, system integrations, or process reengineering initiatives — will be required to support continuous improvement and innovation in sales operations.
- • The Associate Director will partner with finance to ensure accurate revenue forecasting and quota setting, and with marketing to align on lead generation, handoff processes, and campaign effectiveness.
- • They will champion a culture of data-driven decision-making, process discipline, and continuous improvement within the sales organization, mentoring analysts and influencing stakeholders at all levels.
- • Staying ahead of industry trends and emerging sales technologies will be important to recommend and pilot innovations that keep Deel’s sales operations best-in-class and future-ready.
🎯 Requirements
- • 7+ years of experience in sales operations, sales enablement, or related fields, with at least 3 years in a leadership or management role.
- • Proven experience optimizing sales processes and improving sales performance through systems, tools, and data analysis, including expertise in CRM platforms like Salesforce and sales analytics tools.
- • Strong background in sales forecasting, pipeline management, and designing sales compensation plans that align with business goals and motivate performance.
- • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights for senior leadership and cross-functional audiences.
- • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field; advanced degree or relevant certifications (e.g., Salesforce certification) considered a plus.
- • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced, high-growth environment while maintaining strong organization and attention to detail.
