  • • Join Zinnia Tech Inc. as an Associate II, Life Sales and become the critical bridge between our cutting-edge technology platform and the life-insurance carriers, distributors, and advisors who rely on us to protect more than 2 million policyholders. You will sit at the intersection of sales strategy, product expertise, and customer success—owning the full post-sale lifecycle for a portfolio of life-insurance accounts worth billions in premium volume.
  • • Own the day-to-day relationship with 25–35 key carrier and distributor partners, acting as their primary point of contact for all things Policygenius. You will run weekly pipeline calls, quarterly business reviews, and ad-hoc escalation meetings, translating complex product updates into clear revenue opportunities for your clients.
  • • Drive measurable growth: analyze in-force data, conversion funnels, and placement rates to identify friction points, then design and execute targeted improvement plans. Last year, associates in this role increased submitted premium by an average of 18 % within 12 months through data-driven upsell and cross-sell campaigns.
  • • Master Zinnia’s end-to-end technology stack—from digital application intake and e-delivery to in-force policy administration—so you can demo new features live, train external sales teams, and author best-practice playbooks that scale across 2,500+ distributors.
  • • Collaborate daily with Product, Engineering, and Underwriting to prioritize roadmap items that remove bottlenecks for your clients. You will translate field feedback into Jira tickets, sit in sprint reviews, and beta-test releases before they go live to 100 carrier environments.
  • • Build and maintain a real-time CRM of every case, commission file, and compliance document for your book of business. You will ensure 100 % accuracy of policy data across Zinnia’s $180 billion in assets under administration, partnering with Ops to automate manual workflows wherever possible.
  • • Serve as the voice of the customer during monthly executive QBRs, presenting win-loss analyses, NPS trends, and revenue forecasts to senior leadership. Your insights directly influence where Zinnia invests next—from new product lines to expansion into annuities and final-expense markets.
  • • Mentor junior associates and onboard new carrier integrations, creating training decks, SOPs, and certification checklists that reduce ramp-up time from 90 to 45 days. You will host bi-weekly office hours and shadow sessions to raise the bar across the entire Life Sales organization.
  • • Champion compliance and risk management: monitor state filing changes, carrier guideline updates, and NAIC regulations, ensuring every quote, application, and policy issued through our platform meets current statutory requirements.
  • • Celebrate wins loudly: when a partner hits a placement milestone or a new speed-to-issue record, you will craft case studies, press releases, and social posts that spotlight their success—and reinforce Zinnia’s reputation as the category leader in life-insurance technology.

🎯 Requirements

  • • 3–5 years of quota-carrying sales, account management, or business-development experience in life insurance or B2B SaaS
  • • Demonstrated fluency with life-insurance products (term, whole, universal, indexed UL) and carrier underwriting requirements
  • • Advanced Excel and data-analysis skills; comfortable building pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, and basic SQL queries
  • • Experience managing complex, multi-stakeholder relationships with carriers, IMO/FMOs, or large distributor networks
  • • Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, economics, or related field; CLU, ChFC, or FLMI designations a plus
