Coinbase, a global leader in the digital asset space, is seeking an Associate Manager, Payments Sales to join our innovative Crypto as a Service (CaaS) team.
  • • This pivotal role is designed for an individual who is not only adept at navigating the complexities of financial services sales but is also deeply enthusiastic about shaping the future of the global financial system through crypto. You will be instrumental in driving the adoption of Coinbase's cutting-edge CaaS platform, specifically focusing on our payments and stablecoin capabilities, to empower banks, brokerages, fintechs, and Payment Service Providers (PSPs) to build and launch their own crypto-powered products.
  • • As an Associate Manager on the Payments Sales team, you will engage in a highly consultative approach, guiding partners from initial strategy development through product integration and ongoing success. Your primary focus will be on enabling stablecoin payments across a diverse range of client segments, including retail, business, and institutional markets. This is a client-facing role that demands exceptional trust-building skills and the ability to articulate complex technical and business concepts with clarity and conviction.
  • • You will be at the forefront of new product launches, leading go-to-market strategies and ensuring seamless collaboration between our partners and various internal Coinbase teams. This includes close coordination with our product development, solutions architecture, legal, and account management departments, as well as navigating and influencing senior leadership within Coinbase to champion partner needs and drive strategic alignment.
  • • A key aspect of this role involves acting as a strategic advisor to our partners, helping them to understand the evolving crypto landscape and how to best leverage Coinbase's robust platform to achieve their business objectives. You will be responsible for identifying new partnership opportunities, managing the entire deal lifecycle from initial engagement and due diligence to post-close success, and ensuring that our partners derive maximum value from their collaboration with Coinbase.
  • • The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of the current payments ecosystem and a clear vision for how crypto and blockchain will reshape it. You will translate this market insight into actionable product recommendations and strategic guidance for both partners and internal product teams, thereby shaping the future roadmap of our CaaS offerings.
  • • This role requires a proactive, entrepreneurial mindset, with the resilience to navigate the inherent turbulence and rapid evolution of the cryptocurrency market. You will be expected to solve complex problems, adapt quickly to changing circumstances, and consistently deliver revenue generation and successful partnership outcomes.
  • • Your ability to build rapport and maintain strong relationships with senior stakeholders at some of the world's largest financial institutions will be paramount. This includes effectively communicating the value proposition of Coinbase's CaaS solutions and fostering long-term, mutually beneficial partnerships.
  • • You will also play a crucial role in advocating for our partners' needs internally at Coinbase, ensuring their feedback is heard and incorporated into our product strategy.
