📋 Description

• As an Associate Medical Editor specializing in Anesthesiology and Intensive Care, you will play a vital role in shaping high-quality medical content that supports clinicians worldwide in their daily practice and exam preparation, directly contributing to improved patient care through accurate, up-to-date resources.
• Your day-to-day responsibilities include creating and revising medical content such as textbook chapters, multimedia materials, clinical cases, and innovative learning formats focused on intensive care, anesthesiology, emergency medicine, and pain therapy; ensuring content remains current by integrating user feedback and the latest clinical guidelines; contributing to the development of new products like CME courses and study plans; collaborating on topic prioritization and planning; and supporting the optimization of content for medical exam preparation.
• You will join a mission-driven, international team at AMBOSS, a fast-growing medical knowledge platform founded by physicians in 2012, now serving over 600 employees across more than 180 countries, with offices in Berlin, Cologne, New York, Cagliari, and Cape Town, united by a commitment to innovation, care, and AI-powered medical technology.
• In this role, you will deepen your expertise in medical editing and content development, strengthen your ability to communicate complex clinical information clearly and accurately, gain experience in product innovation within digital health, and grow professionally through collaboration in a dynamic, interdisciplinary environment that values continuous learning and ownership.

🎯 Requirements

• Completed medical degree with clinical experience in anesthesiology, particularly in intensive care and emergency medicine.
• Excellent German language skills (minimum C2 level) and flawless command of medical terminology; fluent English proficiency.
• Strong communication skills and a highly differentiated written expression ability.
• Prior experience as an editor or educator is a plus.
• Familiarity with AMBOSS platform is advantageous.
