📋 Description

• As an Associate in the Office of the Chairman, you will serve as a strategic extension of the Chairman, driving high-impact initiatives across hiring, partnerships, fundraising, and market entry—particularly focused on China expansion and building foundational operating systems.
• Day to day, you will work directly with the Chairman to execute China market entry strategy, build and close high-caliber hiring plans, support fundraising efforts, establish operational presence in China (office setup, vendors, structure), drive external positioning via PR and partnerships, translate ambiguous ideas into executable plans, act as a central operator tracking priorities and resolving bottlenecks, and handle high-urgency, unstructured problems with speed and sound judgment.
• You will join a high-talent-density, hands-on team at Bjak Sdn. Bhd. that values rapid decision-making, collective ownership, and independent execution—building A1, a proactive AI chat app designed to bring intelligence into everyday workflows with high reliability and persistent context.
• In this role, you will develop exceptional generalist capabilities, sharpen strategic and operational judgment, gain end-to-end exposure to startup scaling (from zero to one in new markets), and build credibility as a trusted operator capable of turning vision into execution across complex, ambiguous challenges.

• Background in consulting (MBB), top-tier VC, startups, or high-performance operating roles
• Strong generalist ability to switch between strategy, hiring, operations, and execution
• High agency—self-directed, proactive, and able to figure things out without waiting for instructions
• Strong judgment to prioritize effectively and make decisions with incomplete information
• Clear and concise communication for working with senior stakeholders and external partners
• High reliability—consistent follow-through and delivery on commitments
• Comfortable working in a fast-moving, high-ambiguity environment
