📋 Description

• Serve as an Associate Principal Red Team Consultant to lead advanced offensive security engagements for Fortune 500, Federal Government, and commercial clients.
• Design and execute realistic, multi-stage red team operations that simulate advanced persistent threats (APTs), insider threats, and sophisticated adversary tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs).
• Leverage the UltraViolet Cyber security-as-code platform to integrate red team activities with unified security operations, enabling continuous identification, detection, and resilience against evolving threats.
• Collaborate with blue teams and security analysts to validate detection capabilities, improve incident response workflows, and close gaps in organizational defenses through adversarial emulation.
• Develop custom attack vectors and exploit chains tailored to client environments, including cloud infrastructure, on-premises networks, hybrid systems, and industrial control systems.
• Conduct post-engagement reporting with actionable intelligence, prioritized remediation guidance, and measurable metrics to demonstrate risk reduction and security posture improvement.
• Mentor and guide junior red team members, providing technical leadership, peer reviews, and career development support within the security operations team.
• Stay current with emerging threat actor behaviors, zero-day vulnerabilities, and offensive security tooling to ensure engagements remain relevant and cutting-edge.
• Engage directly with client stakeholders, including CISOs, security directors, and IT leadership, to communicate complex technical findings in strategic, business-aligned terms.
• Participate in the design and enhancement of the UltraViolet Cyber platform by providing feedback from real-world red team operations to improve automation, scalability, and integration capabilities.
• Maintain strict compliance with client security policies, NIST, MITRE ATT&CK, and federal cybersecurity frameworks during all engagements.
• Travel may be required for on-site client engagements, though the role is primarily remote with global client coverage across the U.S. and international markets.
• Contribute to internal knowledge sharing, tool development, and methodology documentation to strengthen the firm’s offensive security capabilities and service offerings.
• Represent UltraViolet Cyber at industry events, conferences, and client briefings to promote thought leadership in unified security operations and red teaming excellence.

🎯 Requirements

• Minimum of 7 years of hands-on red teaming or offensive security experience
• Proven track record of leading complex, real-world red team engagements for enterprise and government clients
• Deep expertise in MITRE ATT&CK framework, adversary emulation, and post-exploitation techniques
• Proficiency in scripting and automation (Python, PowerShell, Bash) for custom tool development
• Experience with cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerized attack surfaces
• Strong communication skills to present technical findings to executive-level stakeholders
