đź“‹ Description

  • • As an Associate Project Manager on Intersect Technologies’ Datacenters and Fuels team, you’ll support the delivery of complex power plant projects that enable critical infrastructure at scale, partnering closely with a Project Manager to manage execution across the full project lifecycle—from development through construction and handoff to operations.
  • • You’ll drive end-to-end project execution by building and maintaining project plans across scope, schedule, budget, and resources; coordinating activities across development, permitting, engineering, construction, and commissioning; supporting EPC contract development and tracking contractor performance; monitoring risks, issues, and milestones; and preparing status updates, dashboards, and reports for stakeholders.
  • • You’ll coordinate contractors and stakeholders by partnering with EPC contractors, consultants, vendors, and internal teams; managing contractor deliverables for compliance with contract requirements, timelines, and quality standards; leading project meetings; and documenting key decisions and action items.
  • • You’ll enable change management and reporting by administering construction documentation (RFIs, submittals, change orders, technical deliverables); maintaining accurate project records for compliance and decision-making; and preparing clear status updates and reports for internal stakeholders and leadership.
  • • You’ll support cost management and schedule delivery by tracking project financials (invoices, purchase orders, budget updates); coordinating procurement activities; evaluating contractor change requests; and maintaining accurate change logs.
  • • You’ll drive technical integration and quality by partnering with engineering teams to review EPC designs, submittals, and construction plans; aligning cross-functional disciplines (mechanical, electrical, civil, controls); and supporting adherence to safety standards, permitting requirements, and regulatory guidelines.
  • • About the team or company: Intersect Technologies is a mission-driven company focused on preserving the planet through innovative energy solutions and modern infrastructure. Following Google’s announced acquisition in December 2025, Intersect will remain a separate brand under Alphabet, continuing to develop, construct, and operate ambitious power and data infrastructure. The company operates as a fully flexible workplace with intentional team connections through quarterly Team Week experiences and hub locations in SF Bay Area, NYC Metro Area, Denver, Austin, Calgary, and Toronto.
  • • What the person can learn or achieve in this role: You’ll gain broad exposure across engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning, and contract management; build hands-on experience in large-scale infrastructure delivery; develop expertise in power plant project execution; and grow into increased ownership over time while contributing to high-visibility, impactful projects that support critical energy and data center infrastructure.
