  • • Lead a regional sales team in Western Canada to drive Eye Care Professional-generated sales for Alcon’s Vision Care portfolio, managing Professional Account Managers and coordinating with National Account Managers for Buying Group and Chain agreements.
  • • Achieve annual sales quotas, maintain and grow the customer base, manage average selling prices, and implement key marketing initiatives while providing field feedback to shape strategy.
  • • Train, coach, and develop the sales force through performance reviews, succession planning, and identifying high-potential talent for career growth and promotional readiness.
  • • Develop and execute regional and quarterly business plans, lead regional meetings, collaborate on national sales initiatives, and engage with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) to strengthen market influence.
  • • Foster cross-functional partnerships, navigate dynamic environments, and ensure business continuity during transitions by embodying change leadership and strategic alignment.

🎯 Requirements

  • • Bachelor’s degree preferred (B.A., B.Sc., or B. Comm.)
  • • 8+ years of experience as a Senior Sales Representative in a B2B environment, preferably in Optometry, Medical Devices, Pharma, Dental, or other healthcare professional-associated industries
  • • OR 2-4+ years as a Senior Sales Representative and 2-4+ years as a Brand/Product Manager in a B2B healthcare-related environment
  • • Demonstrated experience in training, coaching, and developing people
  • • Influential leadership with regional or national scope of responsibility
  • • Willingness to travel up to 50%, including within Western Canada, to Mississauga headquarters, and to the U.S. for national sales meetings
  • • Must reside in Alberta or BC
