  • • This role is integral to the Pre-Delivery Inspection (PDI) and reconditioning process, where you will meticulously examine and prepare Lucid vehicles before they reach their owners. Your attention to detail and passion for automotive excellence will be paramount in upholding Lucid's reputation for luxury and innovation.
  • • You will be responsible for performing a range of basic repairs and maintenance tasks on Lucid vehicles. This includes, but is not limited to, the removal and replacement of parts, making necessary body adjustments, performing tire and wheel exchanges, conducting thorough functionality testing, and executing test drives to ensure optimal performance.
  • • A key aspect of your role will involve the diligent administration of work orders, accurately documenting all vehicle interactions and service performed. This ensures a seamless process for vehicles destined for customer delivery and contributes to our comprehensive service records.
  • • You will become proficient in utilizing our advanced software suite, meticulously documenting every interaction with a vehicle. This digital record-keeping is essential for tracking vehicle history, service needs, and ensuring compliance with our quality standards.
  • • Performing necessary software updates on vehicles undergoing inspection is another critical responsibility. As Lucid vehicles are at the forefront of automotive technology, keeping their software current is vital for performance, safety, and feature functionality.
  • • Effective communication and collaboration are vital. You will work closely with other members of the service team, including Service Advisors and Managers, to ensure a cohesive and efficient workflow. Clear communication with customers, when necessary, will also be a part of your role, contributing to a positive ownership experience.
  • • You will be trained to understand and work with High and Low Voltage systems, a fundamental aspect of electric vehicle technology. This training will equip you with the knowledge to safely and effectively service these critical components.
  • • A strong demonstration of attention to detail is non-negotiable. Your commitment to identifying and rectifying even the smallest imperfections will directly contribute to creating positive and memorable client experiences, reinforcing the luxury aspect of the Lucid brand.
  • • While primarily based at our Coolidge facility, there may be opportunities to support the mobile service team. This could involve remote work or travel, offering a dynamic and varied work experience within the service department.
  • • You will be expected to embrace a learning mindset, continuously expanding your technical skills and knowledge of Lucid vehicles and electric vehicle technology. This includes a commitment to obtaining ASE certifications within 6-8 months of your hire date, with Lucid reimbursing the costs associated with successful completion.

🎯 Requirements

  • • Must be 18 years of age or older.
  • • Ability to learn and work with High/Low Voltage systems in electric vehicles.
  • • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with prior customer-facing experience.
  • • Proficiency in basic computer applications (e.g., Microsoft Office) and the ability to learn proprietary DMS software.
  • • Valid driver’s license with no suspensions in the past year. Drivers under 21 must have held their license for a minimum of 3 years and successfully complete Lucid Training upon hire.
  • • Willingness to complete Lucid-provided CPR training post-hire.
  • • Commitment to obtaining ASE certifications (A4, A5, A6, A7) within 6-8 months of hire, with Lucid reimbursing costs for successful completion.
