  • • The Associate - Supply Chain - Healthcare role at BRG Communications LLC is a critical position within the Integrated Health Solutions (IHS) practice, focused on driving measurable improvements in healthcare supply chain operations for hospitals and health systems across the United States. This role directly supports BRG’s mission to help healthcare organizations build resilient, future-ready enterprises by optimizing procurement, inventory, logistics, and materials management through data-driven, LEAN-based strategies that enhance patient outcomes, reduce costs, and improve operational efficiency.
  • • Day-to-day responsibilities include assisting supply chain and department leaders in establishing efficient procurement processes, executing infrastructure project plans, and maintaining cost-effective materials management using LEAN principles to ensure supplies are available when and where needed for acute care, procedure suites, and nursing areas. The associate will develop advanced inventory controls and distribution systems to balance carrying and storage costs while maintaining PAR levels, integrate logistics with quality and patient safety outcomes, and create workable departmental plans that prioritize staff training and continuous improvement.
  • • The role involves developing and enforcing departmental policies, setting goals aligned with hospital needs, communicating performance expectations with clear metrics, and empowering teams through strategic thinking and accountability. • • Regular engagement with clinical leaders and physician stakeholders is required to align supply chain strategy with organizational goals, influence compliance, and drive cost-effectiveness. The associate will also perform other duties as needed to ensure department effectiveness and client satisfaction, including travel to client sites 50-75% of the time based on project demands.
  • • BRG’s IHS practice is led by seasoned healthcare executives, operators, and clinicians who partner with providers, payers, and investors to solve complex strategic, operational, financial, and clinical challenges. The firm combines academic rigor with real-world expertise and emerging technologies to deliver end-to-end advisory services in business transformation, margin improvement, clinical quality, and AI/digital enablement.
  • • In this role, the associate will gain deep exposure to healthcare supply chain best practices, LEAN methodologies, and healthcare operations consulting, developing expertise in Procure to Pay, inventory optimization, and cross-functional stakeholder alignment. Success in this position can lead to advancement within BRG’s growing Healthcare Supply Chain Practice, offering opportunities to lead projects, influence C-suite decision-making, and build a career at the intersection of healthcare operations and strategic consulting.
