- • Support finance function diagnostics by assessing clients’ people, processes, and technology to develop value-creation roadmaps for private equity portfolio companies.
- • Design and execute process enhancements across key finance areas including lead-to-cash, source-to-pay, record-to-report, and FP&A.
- • Collaborate on designing future-state operating platforms encompassing organization structure, finance processes, and technology stack.
- • Develop implementation plans for strategic initiatives with quantified benefits and qualitative substantiation to drive measurable outcomes.
- • Support execution of technology optimizations and process automation within ERPs or through bespoke technologies and AI solutions.
- • Assist Transformation Directors in governing multi-workstream transformation programs to ensure alignment and timely delivery.
- • Coordinate change management efforts across multiple functions and workstreams to enable successful adoption of new processes and systems.
- • Determine and measure ROI of improvement initiatives, identifying risks and supporting mitigation strategies to realize targeted benefits.
- • Apply financial expertise and industry best practices to engagements focused on professionalizing the finance function.
- • Work within multi-workstream transformation environments at single clients while contributing to internal firm initiatives and client proposals.
- • Build and maintain relationships with client personnel and internal Accordion team members across all levels.
- • Actively participate in business development activities, including supporting proposal creation and client engagement initiatives.
- • Contribute to internal firm initiatives aimed at enhancing client service capabilities and improving operational effectiveness.
- • Travel to client sites as required to support on-site engagements and deliver hands-on transformation services.
- • Bring a client service mindset to every interaction, ensuring high-quality delivery and exceptional client experiences.
- • Balance detailed project execution with strategic oversight, managing time effectively across complex, multi-faceted assignments.
🎯 Requirements
- • Minimum 3+ years of relevant professional experience in a client-serving role at a top-tier public accounting or financial advisory firm, or a mix of client service and private industry experience at a senior level
- • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; MBA is a plus
- • Proven experience supporting transformational engagements with ownership over workstream tasks and deliverables
- • Knowledge and experience in finance processes including lead-to-cash, source-to-pay, record-to-report, and FP&A
- • Experience designing and implementing strategies, processes, and technology to increase effectiveness, reduce costs, and improve enterprise value
- • Experience enabling financial processes with finance automation and technology deployment
