  • • Steward the long-term health of 15+ sustenance shows by mining BARC data, social sentiment, and proprietary insights to refresh positioning, tweak promo tonality, and schedule stunt events that keep audiences hooked week after week.
  • • Act as the single-threaded leader who unites creative, programming, ad-sales, digital, and PR teams around one coherent story; translate business KPIs into crisp creative briefs and guardrails so every asset ladders up to the master narrative.
  • • Own quarterly budget allocation across ATL, BTL, and digital, negotiating with media agencies, production houses, and platform partners to extract best-in-class rates and incremental value-adds that stretch every rupee into disproportionate reach.
  • • Pilot always-on digital ecosystems for priority shows—YouTube mini-series, Instagram Reels challenges, Twitter Spaces with cast, and AR filters—turning episodic content into 24/7 engagement loops that feed linear tune-ins.
  • • Spearhead at least one breakthrough, industry-first marketing innovation every quarter (e.g., interactive hologram roadshows, metaverse watch-parties, or AI-generated personalized promos) that earns headlines and redefines how Indian television markets itself.
  • • Translate complex BARC ratings, Google Analytics, and social listening dashboards into concise, actionable insights for the Director and C-suite; course-correct campaigns in real time to protect or grow time-spent and commercial revenue.
  • • Build and mentor a high-performing squad of brand managers, digital natives, and promo producers—instilling a culture of creative risk-taking, data-driven decision-making, and relentless viewer obsession.
  • • Forge symbiotic partnerships with OTT, telecom, DTH, and e-commerce platforms to create co-branded stunts, bundled offers, and exclusive content drops that expand Star Plus touchpoints beyond the TV screen.
  • • Serve as the guardian of brand voice and visual identity across every consumer touchpoint, ensuring consistency whether a viewer encounters a 20-second bumper, a metro-train wrap, or a WhatsApp sticker pack.
  • • Step up as the de-facto crisis manager when controversies or competitive threats emerge—crafting rapid-response messaging that protects brand equity and reassures advertisers, all within a two-hour news cycle.

🎯 Requirements

  • • 12+ years of hands-on experience in television, OTT, or top-tier advertising agencies with a proven track record of launching and sustaining marquee entertainment properties.
  • • Postgraduate qualification in Marketing, Communications, or an MBA from a premier institute.
  • • Demonstrated ability to read and act on BARC data, marrying quantitative rigor with sharp consumer intuition.
  • • Mastery in crafting integrated 360-degree campaigns across TV, print, digital, PR, and experiential channels.
  • • Strong stakeholder management skills—comfortable influencing creative directors, GEC business heads, sales VPs, and external vendors alike.
