• • Leads GAAP and Statutory financial reporting for a public insurance organization, ensuring accurate reporting, strong internal controls, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
• • Oversees GAAP, SEC, FINRA, and Statutory (SAP) financial reporting across business segments; ensures accurate accounting for investments, insurance products, and equity; maintains SOX-compliant internal controls; supports financial planning, modeling, and capital/EPS projections; partners with business leaders on strategic initiatives, new products, and regulatory changes; leads interactions with external auditors and state regulators; monitors compliance with evolving accounting standards and regulations.
