📋 Description

  • • As the AVP of Contact Center Sales at RingCentral, you will lead the strategic expansion of the company’s Contact Center as a Service (CCaaS) portfolio, driving enterprise market share growth by positioning RingCentral as the premier provider of AI-powered customer experience (CX) transformation for global enterprises. This role is pivotal in bridging technical innovation with executive-level business outcomes, ensuring RingCentral is recognized not just as a UCaaS leader but as the definitive choice for AI-driven CX modernization.
  • • You will develop and execute a comprehensive go-to-market (GTM) strategy focused on hunting and closing net-new Enterprise and Mid-Market logos, leveraging data-driven insights to target high-propensity verticals such as Healthcare, Financial Services, and Retail, while architecting a sustainable, high-velocity pipeline that fuels long-term revenue growth.
  • • You will act as a thought leader on the ‘Future of Work,’ articulating how RingCentral’s proprietary AI solutions—including Sentiment Analysis, Real-time Agent Assist, and IVR Orchestration—deliver measurable ROI, enhance agent productivity, and deepen customer loyalty, thereby differentiating the brand in a competitive CCaaS landscape.
  • • You will own the full direct sales motion, from executive discovery and technical validation to the negotiation of complex, multi-million-dollar, multi-year contracts, navigating intricate enterprise procurement processes including security audits, legal redlines, and ROI modeling for stakeholders across IT, Operations, and Finance.
  • • You will lead a cross-functional ‘Tiger Team’ comprising Sales Engineers, Product Specialists, and Customer Success managers to ensure seamless technical validation, successful implementation, and sustained platform adoption, turning closed deals into long-term, expansion-ready partnerships.
  • • You will represent RingCentral at premier industry conferences, executive roundtables, and thought leadership forums, evangelizing the CCaaS portfolio as the core of modern digital transformation and shaping market perception through authoritative, insight-driven engagement.
  • • You will mentor and coach a high-performing sales team, fostering a culture of accountability, agility, and entrepreneurial mindset, while adapting strategies in real-time to market shifts, product evolution, and competitive dynamics to consistently overachieve ambitious quotas.
  • • You will collaborate closely with Product, Marketing, and Engineering teams to provide frontline market feedback that informs product roadmap prioritization, ensuring RingCentral’s AI and cloud solutions evolve in direct response to enterprise customer needs.
  • • You will operate within a $2B+ revenue company with double-digit ARR growth and a $93B market opportunity, leveraging RingCentral’s $250M+ annual investment in AI and cloud innovation to deliver cutting-edge solutions that meet or exceed the demands of the world’s largest organizations.

🎯 Requirements

  • • 12+ years of strategic sales experience in a leadership or ‘Player-Coach’ capacity within SaaS, CCaaS, or CX software sectors, with a documented history of overachieving 7-figure and 8-figure annual quotas in enterprise sales.
  • • Deep technical literacy in cloud architectures and the application of Generative AI within contact center environments, including fluency in AI-driven CX use cases such as sentiment analysis, real-time agent assist, and IVR orchestration.
  • • Proven ability to engage seamlessly across technical and executive audiences—from IT managers to CEOs and COOs—translating complex solutions into clear business outcomes and ROI narratives.
  • • Demonstrated expertise in navigating complex enterprise sales cycles, including security audits, legal negotiations, and multi-stakeholder ROI modeling across IT, Operations, and Finance functions.
  • • Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or equivalent leadership experience preferred.
  • • Strong competitive intelligence acumen, with a nuanced understanding of the CCaaS landscape (e.g., Nice, Five9, Genesys, Talkdesk) and the ability to articulate RingCentral’s differentiated value proposition.
