- • The B2B Events Manager is responsible for the end-to-end execution of live events within Future plc’s B2B division, ensuring high-quality customer experiences, seamless logistics, and strong financial performance through effective budgeting and vendor management.
- • Day to day, the role involves managing live events from concept to execution, overseeing creative delivery, coordinating with internal and external partners, conducting site visits, managing timelines and teams, sourcing and negotiating with vendors, handling sponsor communications, managing insurance and budgets, overseeing conference producers, producing post-event reports, and managing Show Daily distribution at trade shows.
- • Future plc is a global leader in specialist media with over 3,000 employees across 200+ media brands, delivering trusted, expert content through websites, magazines, events, newsletters, podcasts, and social spaces, with ambitious growth plans and a strong commitment to inclusion and diversity.
- • In this role, the individual will develop expertise in end-to-end event production, strengthen project management and vendor negotiation skills, gain experience in budget forecasting and financial reconciliation, and build leadership capabilities by managing cross-functional teams and external partners while contributing to high-impact B2B events that drive engagement and revenue.
🎯 Requirements
- • 2+ years of experience at the event producer/event manager level in a conference or tradeshow environment
- • Expertise in managing end-to-end execution of live events, including high-profile and complex productions
- • Proficiency in budget management, including accurate forecasting, tracking, and reconciliation
- • Experience negotiating vendor contracts and managing supplier relationships
- • Proficiency in Google Suite, project management tools (e.g., Asana), and event-specific software
- • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills when working with sponsors, partners, and team members
