📋 Description

  • The B2G Market Development Lead will serve as the primary operator and strategist for public-sector intelligence and bidding platforms, identifying municipal and state-level opportunities and supporting sales teams through actionable market intelligence.
  • Day-to-day responsibilities include operating and managing bid intelligence platforms like CivicIQ, BidPrime, and BuildersConnected; monitoring for high-intent buying signals and upcoming RFPs; analyzing agency documents to uncover future infrastructure projects; qualifying leads and conducting initial outreach to public-sector contacts; ensuring seamless handoff to sales teams with full context; providing post-handoff support; identifying emerging trends in municipal spending (e.g., EV infrastructure, wastewater mandates); conducting competitive analysis; and leveraging AI tools to build optimized workflows, dashboards, and systems that improve research efficiency and scalability.
  • The role supports a U.S.-based client in the public-sector and infrastructure space, operating within a fast-paced B2G environment where data-driven insights drive strategic sales growth and product innovation through bid intelligence platforms, municipal data, and AI-enabled workflows.
  • The individual will develop expertise in public-sector market intelligence, AI-enabled workflow optimization, bid platform management, and cross-functional collaboration between sales and product teams, gaining direct exposure to sales strategy, product development insights, and emerging infrastructure trends while building scalable systems that drive measurable impact in the B2G space.

🎯 Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in sales development, lead generation, or market research
  • Familiarity with CRM systems such as HubSpot or Salesforce and business intelligence tools
  • Experience working with AI tools and workflow automation systems
  • Strong written and spoken English communication skills
  • Ability to quickly learn and navigate US-based bid intelligence platforms and municipal portals
  • Data-driven mindset with strong attention to detail when reviewing budgets, contracts, and market trends
