- • As BD Director, Payments (Brazil) at Polygon Labs, you will play a critical role in scaling onchain payments infrastructure across one of the world’s most significant financial corridors—Brazil to the US—by driving adoption of stablecoin and blockchain-based payment solutions among leading financial institutions, fintechs, and payment service providers. This role is pivotal in advancing Polygon Labs’ mission to move all money onchain by translating complex technical capabilities into real-world commercial outcomes that unlock new volumes and use cases.
- • You will identify, engage, and build trusted relationships with key players in Brazil’s payments ecosystem—including banks, fintechs, PSPs, and remittance providers—acting as a strategic advisor who helps partners navigate the transition to onchain finance by aligning Polygon Labs’ product suite with their operational needs, regulatory considerations, and growth objectives.
- • Your day-to-day responsibilities will include originating and closing complex B2B deals, structuring commercial opportunities from initial engagement to signed agreements, collaborating cross-functionally with product, engineering, legal, and marketing teams to ensure seamless integrations, and co-developing go-to-market strategies that accelerate adoption in high-potential corridors and use cases.
- • You will provide strategic market intelligence on emerging trends in FX flows, capital controls, and local payment dynamics in Brazil, support the selection and optimization of local ramp infrastructure partners, and maintain rigorous operational discipline through CRM management, pipeline tracking, and performance reporting to ensure predictable revenue growth.
- • You will create and maintain high-impact sales enablement materials such as presentations, case studies, and business cases to support partner conversations and internal alignment, while continuously refining messaging and positioning based on field feedback and market developments.
- • The Payments team at Polygon Labs operates at the intersection of traditional finance and blockchain innovation, working with some of the world’s largest banks and fintechs to build the foundational infrastructure for a global onchain money movement network. You will join a mission-driven, globally distributed team that values deep domain expertise, strategic thinking, and the ability to bridge traditional financial systems with decentralized technologies.
- • In this role, you will deepen your expertise in stablecoins, cross-border payments, and decentralized finance while shaping the go-to-market strategy for a rapidly evolving product suite. 🎯 Requirements
- • 6+ years of experience in payments, fintech, or financial services, with exposure to cross-border payments or remittances
- • Strong network within Brazil’s financial ecosystem (banks, fintechs, PSPs, or card networks)
- • Proven ability to originate and close complex B2B or institutional deals
- • Solid understanding of payments infrastructure, with working knowledge or strong interest in stablecoins and onchain finance
- • Ability to engage and influence senior stakeholders through both commercial and advisory conversations
- • Fluency in Portuguese and English
