  • • As a Benefit Advocate at Health Care Service Corporation (HCSC), you will serve as a vital point of contact for employees and their families, helping them understand, navigate, and maximize the value of their healthcare and wellness benefits provided by employer clients.
  • • Your day-to-day responsibilities will include managing a high volume of service requests via phone, email, portal, and chat; educating callers on benefit plan offerings; assisting with benefit issues; and guiding individuals through employee incentive programs to ensure they receive optimal support and value.
  • • You will join a purpose-driven organization that invests in employee development through curated growth plans, fostering rewarding and fulfilling careers while supporting the well-being of clients’ workforces.
  • • In this role, you will develop strong communication, problem-solving, and customer service skills; gain deep knowledge of healthcare benefits and insurance systems; and build experience in a fast-paced, 24/7/365 call center environment with opportunities for advancement and professional growth.

🎯 Requirements

  • • High School diploma or GED equivalent
  • • Minimum one year of insurance and/or benefits customer service experience
  • • Ability to effectively organize and prioritize work demands in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
  • • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including adapting communication style to diverse audiences
  • • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, data entry, and electronic mail applications
  • • Ability to work a flexible 37.5-hour week in a 24/7/365 environment, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and some third shift
