- • The Benefits Manager at Deel will play a pivotal role in shaping and scaling global benefits programs that support a diverse, distributed workforce of over 7,000 employees across more than 100 countries. This role is critical to Deel’s mission of unlocking global opportunity by ensuring employees receive equitable, compliant, and innovative benefits that align with the company’s vision of building the infrastructure for the future of work.
- • You will lead the end-to-end design, launch, and management of benefits initiatives—from concept to execution—ensuring operational excellence, regulatory compliance, and seamless integration with Deel’s all-in-one HR and payroll platform. Your work will directly impact employee well-being, retention, and satisfaction while supporting Deel’s rapid global expansion.
- • Day to day, you will launch new benefits programs from scratch, including researching market trends, designing plan structures, coordinating with legal and compliance teams, and overseeing rollout across multiple jurisdictions.
- • You will project manage renewals of existing benefits policies, negotiating with vendors, analyzing cost-benefit trade-offs, and ensuring timely renewals without disruption to coverage or service.
- • You will manage relationships with benefits vendors and partners, serving as the primary point of contact for contract management, service level monitoring, and issue resolution, while identifying opportunities for innovation and cost optimization.
- • You will develop clear, engaging communication materials—including guides, FAQs, and digital content—to educate employees and managers about benefits offerings, eligibility, and enrollment processes in multiple languages and formats.
- • You will tackle special projects within the benefits space, such as piloting new wellness initiatives, expanding mental health support, or adapting benefits to emerging workforce trends like flexible work or caregiver support.
- • You will serve as a subject matter expert on all things benefits, providing guidance to internal stakeholders (HR, People Ops, Finance, Legal) and external clients navigating complex global benefits landscapes.
- • You will create new processes and workflows to scale benefits operations as Deel grows, leveraging automation, data analytics, and cross-functional collaboration to improve efficiency and accuracy.
- • You will support clients in finding benefits solutions that are a good fit for their needs, acting as a trusted advisor who translates complex options into clear, actionable recommendations aligned with Deel’s platform capabilities.
- • You will resolve complex cross-team queries involving benefits, payroll, compliance, and HRIS integrations, ensuring timely, accurate, and empathetic responses that maintain trust and operational continuity.

🎯 Requirements
- • 5+ years of experience in Benefits, either working for a broker or at a large start-up
- • Ability to build strong partnerships, influence decisions, and communicate complex work in a clear and concise manner across a variety of audiences
- • High level of ownership, confidentiality, and attention to detail
- • Operational experience running benefits plans
- • Excellent written and verbal communication in English
- • Data driven mindset with ability to analyze metrics and inform decisions
- • Demonstrated interest in the future of work and evolving workplace trends
- • Strong creative thinking skills with the ability to develop innovative solutions
- • Experience building consumer or business-facing products, with a focus on user experience and growth
- • Proven ability to work effectively across diverse cultures, countries, and environments
