- • Serve as a Bi-Lingual Registered Dietitian providing evidence-based nutritional care to patients with chronic gut health and metabolic conditions, including IBS and obesity, through Salvo Health’s app-based remote patient monitoring (RPM) platform.
- • Deliver personalized, multi-month nutritional interventions tailored to each patient’s unique health profile, aligned with Salvo’s clinically validated protocols developed by Board-certified physicians and interdisciplinary care teams.
- • Conduct virtual consultations and ongoing support in both English and Spanish to ensure equitable access to care for Spanish-speaking patients across the United States.
- • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary care team including nurses, psychologists, therapists, and specialty physicians to deliver wraparound, whole-patient care that addresses root causes of chronic illness rather than just symptoms.
- • Utilize RPM technology to monitor patient progress, track dietary adherence, and adjust nutrition plans in real time based on biometric and behavioral data collected through the patient app.
- • Ensure all patient interactions and documentation comply with healthcare regulations, insurance billing standards, and Salvo’s clinical governance framework to support reimbursement under patient insurance plans.
- • Educate patients on sustainable dietary changes, lifestyle modifications, and self-management strategies to improve long-term metabolic and gut health outcomes.
- • Maintain accurate, timely, and HIPAA-compliant electronic health records within Salvo’s digital care platform, documenting assessments, interventions, and patient progress.
- • Participate in regular team huddles, clinical case reviews, and protocol refinement sessions to contribute to continuous improvement of Salvo’s care delivery model.
- • Act as a key liaison between patients and their local physicians, ensuring coordinated care and seamless communication of nutritional insights and clinical recommendations.
- • Support patient retention and engagement by providing seven-day-a-week access to care through the app, responding to patient inquiries, and proactively identifying barriers to adherence.
- • Contribute to the scaling of Salvo’s integrative care model by sharing insights from patient interactions to inform future protocol development and patient education materials.
- • Adhere to ethical and professional standards set by the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics and maintain active Registered Dietitian (RD) licensure and state credentials.
🎯 Requirements
- • Active Registered Dietitian (RD) credential from the Commission on Dietetic Registration
- • Current, unrestricted state licensure to practice as a dietitian in at least one U.S. state
- • Fluency in both English and Spanish, with proven ability to conduct clinical consultations and document care in both languages
