Full Job Description
đź“‹ Description
- • The Bid Manager serves as the centralised global authority for enterprise RFPs and formal buying processes, ensuring consistency, quality, and efficiency across regions while acting as the single point of control for reviewing and approving responses to maintain high standards with minimal resource investment.
- • This role functions as a knowledge hub by capturing lessons learned and successful patterns from global deals and distributing them to new or growing regions, while also acting as the primary liaison between sales and product strategy to channel enterprise-level requirements and feedback from RFPs into product direction.
- • The Bid Manager oversees AI-driven and automated collateral generation, responsible for creating and validating materials to ensure accuracy, alignment, and quality before use, combining governance, enablement, and strategic alignment to streamline enterprise and high-value sales efforts at a global scale.
- • Day-to-day responsibilities include being solely responsible for RFP processes as the single point of control on quality and execution of formal buying processes, distributing global lessons learned and patterns to new regions, serving as the single point of contact with product strategy on enterprise items from RFPs, and ensuring all AI and collateral automation is ingested and reviewed for generating and vetting collateral.
- • The role requires managing a multi-region remit necessitating availability across European, American, and Oceanic timezones, balancing consistent delivery across all responsibilities during peak busy periods in procurement processes, and managing internal stakeholder expectations of GTM and Product personnel.
- • Ideal candidates are self-starters who thrive wearing multiple hats and can navigate varying volumes of work, possess Go-to-Market experience with a lens into product development, and have formal corporate purchasing and/or RFP experience.
- • The role is not suited for those who expect to do the same work every day or who expect the role to be perfectly paved for them.
- • At Sitemate, you’ll join a team that values transparency, high velocity, hustle, diversity, and innovation as core principles, not buzzwords, with access to key company metrics, clear career development plans, and growth based on performance, not tenure.
- • The company operates with trust and autonomy, focusing on outcomes over hours, offering flexibility to manage your day with no time monitoring or unnecessary meetings, and emphasizing collaboration across engineering, product, design, marketing, sales, and customer success teams.
- • Sitemate has grown from 5 people in 2018 to over 150 across 18+ countries, blending deep industry experience with cutting-edge product design to build tools that modernise the construction, infrastructure, and industrial sectors.
- • Life at Sitemate includes monthly All-Hands meetings sharing metrics, customer stories, hiring plans, and financial performance, plus a “Life Story” from a team member to build genuine connection across the global team.
- • The company believes diverse teams build better products, with 55% of the team identifying as from underrepresented ethnic backgrounds, 43% identifying as female, and team members spanning ages 22–51.
- • What the person can learn or achieve in this role includes developing expertise in global enterprise sales governance, influencing product strategy through direct input from high-value customer RFPs, and mastering the integration of AI-driven automation in collateral generation while scaling processes across international markets.
- • The role offers the opportunity to become a knowledge leader by creating and distributing best practices from successful bids to uplift regional teams, gaining visibility into cross-functional alignment between sales, product, and GTM functions, and building a career in a high-impact, strategic position within a fast-growing, VC-backed SaaS company.
