• • The Billing and Collections Specialist ensures timely invoicing and payment collection from companies, institutions, and students to minimize accounts receivable aging and reduce bad debt impact for Kaplan, a global leader in education and technology with over 80 years of experience.
• • Day-to-day responsibilities include communicating professionally via phone, email, and chat to resolve billing inquiries, managing account aging, sending invoices to secure funding, certifying military student eligibility, organizing workloads across queues and shared email accounts, assisting accounting with deposit issues, and improving billing processes through troubleshooting and documentation.
• • The role sits within Kaplan’s Student Financial Services team under the Kaplan Test Prep business unit, collaborating with cross-functional support teams to deliver accurate product and service information while upholding the company’s mission of innovation, collaboration, and creativity in education.
• • The specialist will develop expertise in financial operations within an education technology environment, gain experience with invoicing and collections software, strengthen analytical and communication skills, and contribute to process improvements that support Kaplan’s financial health and student success initiatives.
