• • The Billing Manager oversees claims production, billing, follow-up, collections, and compliance with third-party payer regulations, ensuring strategic alignment and daily management of revenue cycle functions to improve key performance indicators such as A/R days, cash collection, denials, and contract management.
• • Day-to-day responsibilities include providing proactive oversight of billing and collections, mentoring Billing Coordinators, managing staff performance, preparing and monitoring department budgets, ensuring accurate and timely patient invoicing, maintaining compliance with federal/state regulations and payer policies, and leading efforts to reduce denials and optimize reimbursement.
