• • Ashby Inc. is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Billing Specialist to join our dynamic, fast-growing SaaS company. This is a pivotal role, as you will be the first dedicated Billing Specialist, playing a crucial part in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our end-to-end billing processes. Reporting to the Revenue Accounting Manager, you will be instrumental in supporting our upcoming first financial audit and scaling our operations effectively.
• • As a Billing Specialist, your primary responsibility will be to meticulously manage the billing lifecycle for our diverse customer base. This involves a deep dive into customer contracts to ensure precise billing setup within our systems. You will be tasked with processing all subscription-related changes, including upgrades, downgrades, and renewals, ensuring that each transaction is accurately reflected and billed in a timely manner.
• • A key aspect of this role is ensuring the completeness of billing on a monthly basis. This requires a proactive approach to identifying and resolving any discrepancies or missing information. You will also be responsible for the accurate application of customer payments, maintaining clear records and reconciling accounts.
• • In addition to processing and reconciliation, you will actively contribute to our collections efforts. This includes diligently monitoring aging reports, identifying overdue accounts, and initiating professional follow-ups with customers to ensure prompt payment. Your efforts will directly impact our cash flow and financial health.
