📋 Description

• The Billing Specialist role is essential to maintaining Fullsteam Operations’ financial integrity and customer satisfaction by ensuring accurate, timely billing across multiple Business Units within the Accounting Shared Services team. This position directly supports the company’s mission to empower small and medium-sized businesses through seamless software and payment solutions, making it a critical link in the financial operations that drive client trust and organizational efficiency.
• Day-to-day responsibilities include generating, reviewing, modifying, and sending accurate invoices—both one-time and usage-based—on schedule; creating and managing subscriptions, sales orders, and estimates in NetSuite, including modifications and terminations; applying customer payments, processing refunds and credits, and reconciling billing records with accounts and financial statements; investigating and resolving billing discrepancies, Paystand issues, and payment transaction mismatches promptly; ensuring proper suspension of product access for cancellations and managing tax exemptions; responding professionally to customer inquiries about invoices, payments, and billing issues; collaborating with customer service, sales, finance, and operations teams to resolve issues, improve processes, and maintain accurate financial reporting; identifying opportunities to streamline billing workflows, enhance efficiency, and implement automation where feasible; and staying current with industry best practices and emerging technologies in billing and invoicing.

• In this role, you will develop deep expertise in enterprise billing systems like NetSuite and Zuora, strengthen your analytical and problem-solving abilities in a fast-paced SaaS environment, gain exposure to cross-functional financial operations, and build valuable experience in process optimization and automation—positioning you for advancement into senior billing, accounts receivable, or financial analysis roles within the organization.

🎯 Requirements

• Proven experience in billing, accounts receivable, or a financial analysis role with demonstrated ability to manage invoicing, subscriptions, and payment reconciliation.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software; hands-on experience with NetSuite, Zuora, Suite Billing, FloQast, or Salesforce is strongly preferred.
• Strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, remote environment while maintaining accuracy and meeting deadlines.
