  • • You will be instrumental in managing the patient journey from initial contact through order processing and documentation, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and timeliness in every interaction.
  • • Your primary responsibility will involve handling inbound calls on a multi-line phone system, providing comprehensive information to both new and existing patients, and adeptly troubleshooting common issues.
  • • A key aspect of your role will be collaborating closely with the branch team and other departments to identify and implement effective resolutions for patient inquiries and concerns, escalating complex issues when necessary.
  • • You will be responsible for the meticulous processing of branch duties, which includes the creation and management of new patient orders, cross-referencing information across multiple systems to assist customers effectively, and confirming delivery appointments.
  • • Verifying patient insurance details and obtaining necessary authorizations for equipment based on payor guidelines will be a critical function, ensuring patients receive the care they need in a timely manner.
  • • You will diligently monitor incoming faxes and perform essential data entry tasks, maintaining the integrity and accuracy of patient records.
  • • A significant part of your role will involve working proactively with the sales team, referral sources, and patients themselves to gather all required documentation and information needed to meet stringent insurance guidelines.
  • • You will be tasked with requesting and obtaining health plan authorizations and essential information, utilizing both electronic and verbal communication channels to expedite the process.
  • • A core duty is the thorough review of new and recurring patient accounts, ensuring all necessary documentation is secured from referral sources to facilitate accurate billing to individual health insurance plans.
  • • This process is vital for enabling our patients to maximize their available health plan benefits and to receive the much-needed care they require as swiftly as possible.
  • • You will also be responsible for collecting credit card payments and billing information, performing daily reconciliation of receivables, and submitting these to the designated lockbox.
  • • Conducting outbound customer satisfaction calls to both patients and referral sources will be part of your role, providing an opportunity to gather valuable feedback and ensure ongoing patient engagement.
  • • Depending on the branch's needs, you may be involved in downloading data from recording devices such as apnea monitors, oximeters, CPAP devices, and other respiratory equipment.
  • • Furthermore, you might perform functional tests on certain respiratory equipment to ensure optimal performance and patient safety.
  • • This role requires a proactive and organized approach, with a strong emphasis on problem-solving and analytical skills to navigate complex patient needs and insurance requirements.
  • • You will embody a patient-focused mindset, consistently prioritizing the well-being and satisfaction of those we serve.
