  • • The Brand Activation Show Services Coordinator is a non-employee contingent worker role supporting TIAA’s family of companies, focused on ensuring operational excellence for marketing presence at events and sponsorships nationwide. This role is critical to maintaining brand consistency and delivering seamless event experiences that align with TIAA’s brand strategy and customer engagement goals.
  • • Day to day, the coordinator will work with conference program owners on branded assets and on-site labor needs, use Exhibit Force software to place orders for exhibit assets and premiums, process invoices related to sponsorship assets, collaborate with Show Services vendors for timely fulfillment, input expenses into Cvent for tracking, assist in developing DIY tools and process improvements, and provide ad hoc project and event management support for key programs throughout the year, with some travel required.
  • • The role sits within TIAA’s Brand Marketing function, specifically supporting the Show Services unit, and reports to the Head of Show Services. The team operates in a hybrid capacity, likely onsite in New York, and collaborates with internal business partners and external vendors to drive efficiencies in event execution and brand activation.
  • • In this role, the individual will deepen expertise in event logistics, brand activation, and vendor management while gaining hands-on experience with industry tools like Exhibit Force and Cvent. They will develop project management and cross-functional collaboration skills, contribute to process improvements, and build a foundation for advancement in marketing operations or event management within a major financial services organization.

🎯 Requirements

  • • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • • Strong customer service skills with a friendly, energetic, approachable, motivated, and calm demeanor
  • • Ability to multi-task and strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks
  • • Command of Microsoft suite, specifically Excel and PowerPoint
  • • 1-3 years of prior event management or conference planning experience
  • • Cvent experience preferred
  • • Strong project management skills
