- • Serve as a Brazilian Subject Matter Expert in History to develop high-quality, expert-level questions and answers for AI training data used by a major social media client.
- • Ensure all content is culturally, historically, and contextually accurate, reflecting the nuances of Brazilian history, law, and society.
- • Create challenging, nuanced, and authentic content in Brazilian Portuguese that enables AI systems to understand regional perspectives and historical contexts.
- • Collaborate with project teams to define content guidelines, evaluate data quality, and refine annotation standards for historical and cultural accuracy.
- • Review and validate existing datasets to identify inaccuracies, biases, or gaps in representation of Brazilian historical narratives.
- • Deliver consistent, high-standard outputs aligned with client specifications for training machine learning models in natural language processing.
- • Work independently on a flexible, freelance basis with no fixed hours, managing deadlines and deliverables autonomously.
- • Maintain strict confidentiality of all client materials and project data, adhering to Welocalize’s data security and compliance protocols.
- • Contribute to the evolution of training datasets by suggesting improvements based on deep subject expertise in Brazilian historical scholarship.
- • Engage in periodic feedback sessions with project leads to align content output with evolving AI model requirements.
- • Ensure all submissions are grammatically precise, academically rigorous, and free of anachronisms or misrepresentations of Brazilian historical events and figures.
- • Apply PhD-level knowledge to design complex, multi-layered questions that test AI comprehension of historical causality, interpretation, and socio-political context.
- • Avoid generalizations or oversimplifications; produce content that reflects scholarly debate, primary source interpretation, and regional diversity within Brazil.
- • Work exclusively in Brazilian Portuguese—no English or other language outputs are required.
- • Participate in quality assurance reviews and rework cycles as needed to meet client benchmarks for accuracy and depth.
- • Maintain up-to-date awareness of current academic discourse in Brazilian history to ensure training data reflects contemporary scholarly consensus.
- • Do not provide translations or linguistic adaptations—focus solely on historical content creation and validation.
- • This is a freelance, project-based engagement with no expectation of long-term employment or benefits beyond agreed compensation.
🎯 Requirements
- • PhD in History or a closely related field with specialization in Brazilian history
- • Native or near-native fluency in Brazilian Portuguese
