- • Serve as a Brazilian Subject Matter Expert (SME) in Law and Ethics at the PhD level to develop high-quality, expert-level questions and answers for AI training data used by a major social media client.
- • Create culturally and legally nuanced content that accurately reflects Brazilian law, ethics, history, and societal norms to improve AI understanding of Brazilian context.
- • Design complex, scenario-based prompts and responses that challenge AI systems to interpret legal principles, ethical dilemmas, and cultural subtleties unique to Brazil.
- • Ensure all content is written exclusively in Brazilian Portuguese, maintaining linguistic precision, regional terminology, and contextual authenticity.
- • Collaborate with project leads to align content with client specifications for NLP-enabled machine learning models, focusing on accuracy, relevance, and depth.
- • Review and validate existing training data to identify gaps, inconsistencies, or cultural misrepresentations in legal and ethical content.
- • Adhere to strict quality control protocols and confidentiality agreements when handling sensitive legal and societal material.
- • Deliver content on schedule with attention to detail, meeting defined volume and accuracy targets for each assignment cycle.
- • Work independently in a remote, freelance capacity with minimal supervision while maintaining consistent communication with project coordinators.
- • Contribute to iterative improvements in training data quality by providing feedback on AI model outputs and suggesting refinements based on expert knowledge.
- • Maintain up-to-date awareness of recent developments in Brazilian law, judicial precedents, and ethical frameworks to ensure training data remains current and authoritative.
- • Participate in periodic training sessions or briefings provided by Welocalize to understand evolving client requirements and data annotation standards.
- • Ensure all submitted content complies with data privacy regulations and intellectual property guidelines applicable to AI training datasets.
- • Do not generalize or extrapolate beyond established Brazilian legal and ethical norms; strictly base all content on verifiable, authoritative sources.
- • Accept assignments on a flexible, project-based basis with no guaranteed minimum hours or long-term commitment.
🎯 Requirements
- • PhD in Law, Ethics, or a closely related field with specialization in Brazilian legal systems or ethical frameworks
- • Native or near-native fluency in Brazilian Portuguese
- • Demonstrated expertise in Brazilian law, legal history, and societal ethics
- • Ability to create complex, culturally accurate, and legally precise content for AI training purposes
- • Reliable internet access and proficiency with digital collaboration tools
- • Willingness to work independently as a freelance contractor with flexible hours
