- • Serve as a Brazilian Subject Matter Expert (SME) to design expert-level questions and answers focused on Brazilian politics, culture, law, history, and society for AI training data.
- • Ensure all content is culturally accurate, contextually rich, and linguistically precise in Brazilian Portuguese to reflect authentic national perspectives.
- • Collaborate with Welocalize’s data science and localization teams to validate the complexity and relevance of content for training NLP-enabled machine learning models.
- • Produce high-quality, nuanced responses that challenge AI systems to understand subtle political nuances, historical contexts, and societal norms unique to Brazil.
- • Adhere to strict quality guidelines for annotation and evaluation of content, ensuring consistency and reliability in training datasets used by global clients.
- • Work independently on a freelance basis with flexible hours, delivering content according to project deadlines and volume requirements.
- • Review and refine AI-generated outputs based on expert knowledge to improve model accuracy in understanding Brazilian political discourse and cultural references.
- • Maintain confidentiality and data integrity of all content provided, as it may be used in sensitive AI applications for international clients.
- • Participate in periodic feedback sessions with project leads to refine content standards and address emerging trends in Brazilian political and social contexts.
- • Apply PhD-level expertise to identify and articulate complex, non-obvious relationships between political institutions, legal frameworks, historical events, and public opinion in Brazil.
- • Ensure all submitted materials are original, properly sourced where applicable, and free from plagiarism or biased interpretations.
- • Contribute to the development of evaluation rubrics for annotators by defining criteria for accuracy, depth, and cultural authenticity in Brazilian political content.
- • Stay current with developments in Brazilian politics, legislation, and public discourse to ensure training data remains up-to-date and representative.
- • Communicate clearly and professionally with project managers and technical teams, providing clarifications on content intent and contextual background when needed.
- • Deliver content exclusively in Brazilian Portuguese, with no reliance on translations or English-language intermediaries.
- • Accept responsibility for the intellectual rigor and scholarly integrity of all submitted materials, reflecting the standards expected of a PhD-level expert.
🎯 Requirements
- • PhD degree in a relevant field such as Political Science, History, Law, Sociology, or Brazilian Studies
- • Native or near-native fluency in Brazilian Portuguese
- • Deep, expert-level knowledge of Brazilian politics, law, history, and society
