- ⢠As a Budget Execution Manager in Amgenās R&D Business Operations team, you will lead the end-to-end budget execution engine for key functions within Research & Development, enabling data-informed decisions that drive innovation and support Amgenās mission to serve patients with serious illnesses.
- ⢠You will lead annual budget planning cycles, maintain budget plans with disciplined governance, own quarterly forecasts and close activities, partner with global teams (including Amgen India), deliver leadership updates, optimize dashboards for self-service insights, and support business case development and procure-to-pay escalations.

- ⢠In this role, you will develop strategic financial storytelling, strengthen financial controls, influence cross-functional outcomes without authority, and gain deep expertise in R&D finance, budget execution, and enterprise planning tools within a global biotech leader.
šÆ Requirements
- ⢠Bachelorās degree and 5 years of biotech/pharma business operations and/or financial analytics experience (or equivalent combination of education and experience as outlined in Basic Qualifications)
- ⢠Proficiency with data visualization and collaboration tools (e.g., Tableau, Smartsheet, MS Teams) and comfort enabling self-service insights
- ⢠Advanced Excel skills and strong command of the Microsoft Office suite
- ⢠Demonstrated ability to leverage automation and AI-enabled solutions to streamline workflows, improve controls, and elevate insights
- ⢠Experience with enterprise planning/procurement tools (e.g., SAP, Ariba, Anaplan)
- ⢠Exceptional communication skillsāable to craft concise narratives and deliver messages that enable alignment and change
