Full Job Description

đź“‹ Description

  • • Architect and own the Business Analysis (BA) discipline for RSM’s Digital Solutions group, translating the firm’s 18-month rolling roadmaps into a living, breathing capability that delivers rapid value realization across enterprise engineering and low-code/no-code initiatives.
  • • Recruit, inspire, and mentor a multi-level team of business analysts, creating clear career paths, competency frameworks, and targeted training programs that accelerate growth for early-career through senior professionals while ensuring the right skill mix to meet evolving business demand.
  • • Define and continuously evolve BA standards, methodologies, and governance models that embed quality, traceability, and automation into every stage of the SAFe Agile lifecycle—from portfolio epics to sprint-level user stories—raising the bar for predictable, scalable delivery.
  • • Drive the adoption of modern BA tooling—AI-driven accelerators, automated requirement quality gates, reusable pattern libraries—so that analysts spend less time on rote documentation and more time on high-value discovery, prioritization, and stakeholder alignment.
  • • Partner daily with Solution Architecture, Development, Data, and Operations capability leaders to ensure end-to-end flow of requirements, acceptance criteria, and test assets, eliminating hand-off friction and reducing rework across complex, multi-product initiatives.
  • • Establish and monitor KPIs such as defect density, story cycle time, automation coverage, and stakeholder satisfaction; use insights to lead root-cause analyses and implement systemic improvements that continuously lift team performance and client confidence.
  • • Champion a culture of curiosity, peer mentoring, and continuous learning through communities of practice, brown-bag sessions, and hackathons focused on emerging BA techniques, domain mastery, and innovation in digital product delivery.
  • • Collaborate with Scrum Masters, Release Train Engineers, and Agile Coaches to embed BA ceremonies—backlog refinement, story mapping, acceptance test-driven development—into DevSecOps pipelines, ensuring quality is “shifted left” and value is realized faster.
  • • Lead workforce planning and capacity modeling sessions with portfolio stakeholders, translating business objectives into disciplined BA staffing plans that balance cost, speed, and risk while proactively addressing skill gaps through hiring, upskilling, or strategic partnerships.
  • • Serve as the authoritative voice for BA quality, presenting progress, risks, and opportunities to executive leadership with clarity and transparency, enabling informed investment decisions and reinforcing trust in Digital Solutions’ delivery engine.
  • • Oversee compliance with internal policies and external regulations (SOC, ISO, GDPR), ensuring that BA artifacts, data handling practices, and audit trails meet or exceed industry standards and reduce organizational risk.
  • • Foster an inclusive environment where diverse perspectives are celebrated, psychological safety is paramount, and every team member feels empowered to bring their authentic self to work—because better teams build better solutions.
  • • Continuously scan the external market for next-generation BA practices, low-code/no-code accelerators, and AI-enabled tooling, piloting promising innovations and scaling those that demonstrably improve speed, accuracy, and client delight.
  • • Balance strategic vision with tactical execution—jumping into critical initiatives when needed to model best-in-class analysis techniques, unblock teams, and demonstrate the art of the possible to both clients and colleagues.

🎯 Requirements

  • • 10+ years of progressive experience in business analysis with at least 5 years leading multi-level, cross-functional BA teams in a Scaled Agile (SAFe) or lean portfolio management environment.
  • • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field; advanced degree or relevant certifications (CBAP, PMI-PBA, SAFe POPM) strongly preferred.
  • • Demonstrated expertise in defining enterprise-level BA strategies, standards, and governance models that drive measurable improvements in quality, velocity, and stakeholder satisfaction.
  • • Deep fluency in modern SDLC, Agile, SAFe, DevOps, and CI/CD practices with the ability to integrate BA workflows into automated pipelines and quality gates.
  • • Proven success in workforce planning, talent development, and change management, including building competency frameworks and training programs that accelerate early-career and mid-level analyst growth.

🏖️ Benefits

  • • Competitive total rewards package with a salary range of $158,600–$281,600 plus discretionary bonus tied to firm and individual performance.
  • • Flexible, virtual-first work environment that empowers you to balance life’s demands while serving clients effectively from anywhere in the USA.
  • • Comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, vision, 401(k) with match, generous PTO, parental leave, and continuous learning stipends to support your personal and professional growth.
  • • A culture of belonging—camaraderie, collaboration, and diversity of thought—where you can be your authentic self and feel supported by leaders and colleagues alike.
