• Zartis Technologies Limited is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Business Analyst to join our dynamic team and play a pivotal role in the delivery of a cutting-edge global payment platform. This is an exceptional opportunity to contribute to a project that is accelerating the adoption of advanced technologies within the fintech industry, specifically enabling prepaid card services.
• As a Business Analyst, you will be instrumental in bridging the gap between business vision and technical execution. You will work closely with Product Owners and agile teams to ensure a clear and comprehensive understanding of product goals, priorities, and detailed requirements. Your contributions will directly impact the successful and timely delivery of a complex, global payment solution.
• You will be a key player in breaking down large, ambitious features into smaller, actionable user stories. This involves meticulously defining clear and measurable acceptance criteria, ensuring that development teams have the precise guidance needed for efficient and effective work. Your ability to translate high-level concepts into granular tasks will be critical for maintaining project momentum and achieving sprint goals.
• Collaboration is at the heart of this role. You will engage with a diverse range of stakeholders, from business leaders to technical teams, to define measurable outcomes and ensure that User Acceptance Testing (UAT) is a seamless and successful process. Your facilitation skills will be essential in gathering input, aligning expectations, and driving consensus across different groups.
• A core responsibility will be the capture and documentation of both functional and non-functional requirements. This includes critical aspects such as performance benchmarks, security protocols, and scalability needs. By meticulously documenting these requirements, you will proactively prevent downstream issues and ensure the platform is robust, secure, and capable of handling future growth.
• You will be adept at creating and utilizing visual artifacts to enhance clarity and alignment. This includes developing flowcharts, data flow diagrams, and use case diagrams that visually represent complex processes and system interactions, making them easily understandable for all team members and stakeholders.
• Identifying and documenting business rules that govern product behavior is another key area of focus. You will ensure these rules are clearly articulated and that development teams fully understand and implement them correctly, maintaining the integrity and intended functionality of the payment platform.
• A significant part of your role will involve mapping and analyzing existing business processes. Through this analysis, you will identify opportunities for significant efficiency improvements, pinpoint areas of friction or bottlenecks, and propose solutions that drive operational excellence and reduce costs.
• Understanding and modeling required data structures will be essential to ensure the product design effectively meets both user needs and overarching business objectives. This involves working closely with data architects and developers to define data models that support the platform's functionality and reporting requirements.
• Active participation in agile ceremonies is a must. You will contribute meaningfully to daily stand-ups, sprint planning sessions, sprint reviews, and retrospectives, providing insights and ensuring the team remains aligned and productive.
• You will serve as a primary point of contact for developers, clarifying requirements, managing defects, and validating fixes to guarantee that implemented solutions accurately reflect the intended design and functionality.
• Conducting discovery work and technical spikes will be part of your responsibilities, allowing you to explore technical unknowns, assess feasibility, and provide valuable data to support critical product decision-making.
• You will provide crucial support for User Acceptance Testing (UAT), which includes developing comprehensive test scenarios, scripting test cases, and coordinating the testing process to ensure the platform meets all business requirements before launch.
• Assisting end-users in understanding new features and gathering feedback for potential improvements will be vital for continuous product enhancement and user satisfaction.
• Ultimately, you will contribute to optimizing payment flows, reducing operational costs, and significantly enhancing the overall customer experience through the delivery of a high-quality, efficient global payment platform.
• This role offers the chance to work within a distributed, cross-functional environment, collaborating across multiple squads and backend delivery domains. You will be part of a team that values innovation, trust, and the delivery of impactful technology solutions.

🎯 Requirements

• Proven experience as a Business Analyst within product-led, agile development environments.
• Solid understanding of card payment processes, including the transaction lifecycle, authorization, clearing, settlement, reconciliation, and fraud monitoring.
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with Product Owners on prioritization, defining acceptance criteria, and ensuring delivery against them.
• Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills, with a proactive mindset and meticulous attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to translate complex business needs into clear, actionable technical requirements and visual artifacts.
• Experience modeling business processes using diagrams, flowcharts, or similar tools, and a strong understanding of Agile methodologies, particularly Scrum.
