Full Job Description

đź“‹ Description

  • • Serve as the critical bridge between Inmar’s Product, Engineering, and Healthcare clients—translating complex business challenges into clear, actionable requirements that power smarter consumer experiences across pharmacy, payer, and manufacturer workflows.
  • • Own 40 % of your week on Product Support & Development—partner with Product Managers and Engineers to design, launch, and measure experiments that influence user behavior and drive measurable business outcomes across a network of 60,000+ pharmacies and 200+ health systems.
  • • Draft crisp business requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, and technical product documentation that allow Engineering to build with confidence and QA to validate with precision, ensuring every release meets strict accuracy and compliance standards.
  • • Collaborate directly with end-users in hospitals, health systems, and pharmaceutical companies to create realistic test data, execute system tests, and certify that new features perform flawlessly under real-world conditions.
  • • Build and maintain user documentation, quick-start guides, and training materials that empower internal Sales, Client Success, and Operations teams to speak fluently about new capabilities and industry trends such as AI-driven drug-adherence models, ML-based formulary optimization, and API-first interoperability.
  • • Dedicate another 40 % to Business Analysis & Execution—research current-state workflows, identify pain points, and re-engineer processes that unlock efficiency, reduce cost, and elevate patient outcomes.
  • • Translate high-level business goals into detailed functional design documents, data-mapping specs, and process-flow diagrams that serve as the single source of truth for developers, QA analysts, and compliance officers.
  • • Facilitate cross-functional workshops and requirement-gathering sessions across Pharmacy Operations, Data Science, Legal, and external vendors to ensure every stakeholder’s voice is heard and every requirement is traceable.
  • • Support vendor selection and RFP development when third-party solutions are required, objectively scoring capabilities against cost, security, scalability, and regulatory alignment.
  • • Invest the remaining 20 % in Continuous Improvement & Experimentation—define KPIs that track product adoption, financial impact, and clinical value; build dashboards in Looker or Excel; and socialize insights that influence roadmap prioritization.
  • • Monitor sprint status, surface risks early, and negotiate trade-offs to keep delivery timelines realistic while safeguarding quality and compliance with HIPAA, HITRUST, and FDA guidance.
  • • Stay ahead of evolving healthcare regulations (e.g., CMS interoperability rules, 340B reform, DSCSA serialization) and brief the team on implications for data sharing, pricing, and patient privacy.
  • • Champion a culture of rapid experimentation—run A/B tests, pilot programs, and proof-of-concepts that validate new ideas quickly and cheaply before scaling across the network.
  • • Position yourself for future growth: high-performing analysts are routinely promoted into Associate Product Manager roles, owning end-to-end product lines that generate multimillion-dollar revenue streams.
  • • Bring curiosity, empathy, and a bias for action to every conversation, whether you are white-boarding a new API endpoint with engineers or listening to a pharmacist explain the daily friction of prior authorization calls.

🎯 Requirements

  • • 2–4 years of experience in business analysis, product management, or consulting within healthcare, pharmacy, or payer environments
  • • Proven ability to translate complex business problems into clear user stories, functional requirements, and technical specifications
  • • Strong working knowledge of healthcare regulations such as HIPAA, HITRUST, CMS interoperability, 340B, or DSCSA serialization
  • • Experience with data visualization tools (Looker, Tableau, Excel) and SQL for ad-hoc analysis
  • • Excellent facilitation and stakeholder-management skills across technical and non-technical audiences
  • • Nice-to-have: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Health Informatics, Computer Science, or related field; familiarity with HL7 FHIR, EDI, or API-first architectures

🏖️ Benefits

  • • Hybrid work model—split time between Inmar’s Winston-Salem headquarters and remote flexibility
  • • Clear career path: top analysts are promoted into Associate Product Manager roles owning multimillion-dollar product lines
  • • Comprehensive health, dental, and vision coverage starting day one
  • • 401(k) with company match, employee stock purchase plan, and annual performance bonus
  • • Generous PTO, paid volunteer days, and tuition reimbursement for continued learning
