- • Provides strategic direction and guidance on business architecture to align organizational spans and layers with executive strategy blueprints.
- • Supports Senior Strategy Officers and Line of Business Senior Executives by leveraging insights to inform strategic choices, fact-based prioritization, and business opportunity assessments.
- • Executes business architecture approaches to translate and decompose high-level business strategies into actionable frameworks and blueprints.
- • Facilitates current and target state assessments to evaluate business capability maturity and prioritize investments across the strategic horizon using capability-based planning.
- • Applies standardized business modeling methods to maintain a consistent, complete knowledgebase for planning, portfolio management, and executive decision-making.
- • Serves as a cross-functional conduit between business lines and architecture communities (enterprise, technical, process, and information) to ensure alignment of strategies and artifacts.
- • Facilitates, negotiates, and represents business interests in the maturation and investment of business architecture capabilities.
- • Contributes to the design and alignment of the business architecture framework, governing principles, and industry best practices.
- • Supports the development of the business architecture metamodel and integrates it with other architecture domain metamodels and enterprise frameworks.
- • Stays current on industry trends, emerging standards, and evolving best practices in business architecture.
- • Ensures business activities comply with risk management policies and procedures by identifying, measuring, monitoring, and controlling associated risks.
- • Develops and maps relationships between value stream maps, business capability maps, organizational graphs, and strategy blueprints to drive informed business decisions.
- • Leads cross-functional teams in delivering architecture services using both Waterfall and Agile methodologies.
- • Communicates complex architecture recommendations clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders at all organizational levels.
- • Applies industry-standard frameworks such as BIZBOK® and TOGAF® in the design and implementation of business architecture solutions.
- • Implements business architecture standards, principles, and policies while maintaining awareness of applicable regulatory and compliance requirements.
🎯 Requirements
- • 6 years of relevant business architecture experience including practice and knowledgebase development, strategy decomposition, and capability-based planning.
- • 2 years of hands-on experience developing business architecture for large-scale strategic priorities and business strategies.
- • Experience executing standard business architecture approaches and leading cross-functional teams to deliver architecture services.
- • Proficiency in applying BIZBOK® and TOGAF® frameworks and related enterprise architecture meta modeling.
- • Demonstrated ability to influence and communicate complex architectural concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- • Experience mapping value streams, business capabilities, organizational structures, and strategy blueprints to support strategic decision-making.
