- • The Business Continuity Intern will support Calix’s Business Continuity team in maintaining and strengthening organizational preparedness for disruptions and incidents, contributing to enterprise risk management and operational resilience.
- • Day-to-day responsibilities include assisting with Business Continuity Plans, organizing and tracking exercises (such as tabletop tests), preparing dashboards and leadership reports, updating SharePoint sites and document repositories, tracking action items, supporting research on risks and best practices, developing training materials, participating in meetings, and providing administrative coordination support.
- • Calix is a technology company focused on enabling communications service providers with innovative solutions, and its Business Continuity team plays a critical role in ensuring organizational resilience and compliance through structured preparedness programs.
- • The intern will gain hands-on experience in business continuity planning, crisis preparedness, risk assessment, compliance documentation, and enterprise resilience practices, while developing professional skills in documentation, analysis, coordination, and communication within a structured, award-winning internship program.
🎯 Requirements
- • Pursuing an undergraduate degree in Business Continuity, Risk Management, Emergency Management, or a related field
- • Strong written and verbal communication skills
- • Detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities
- • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks
- • Willingness to learn new concepts, tools, and processes
